The Baquis apartment is situated in a modern luxurious building. The apartment is on the 6th of 7 floors, accessed by a choice of two lifts.
With cool marble floors both internally and externally, plenty of natural sunlight due to its westerly aspect and comfortable furnishings, it is a pleasure to relax and unwind here after a busy day exploring!
Many hours can be pleasantly spent on the large (21m²) sunny terrace which runs the entire length of the apartment. Ideal for watching the sunset while enjoying a glass of French wine or alfresco dining under the stars.
The stylish interior comprises of a open plan living area and modern kitchen with glass doors out on to the terrace. A powerful air-conditioning unit here cools the entire apartment quickly and efficiently
The bedroom is located at one end of the apartment and has direct access out on to the terrace. The shower room is beside the bedroom.
The property is truly in a perfect location, lying half way between the main train station and the beaches, it offers the best of both worlds, close enough to the action but far enough away from the noise. Being on the 6th floor, which is stepped back from the lower floors, you can enjoy the open air and wonderful sunsets not normally associated with city life.
A selection of bakeries, mini-supermarkets and cafes can all be found within 100 metres of the front door.
If you decide to hire a car during your stay, there is a large underground public car park very close by.

The air-conditioned open plan spacious living area with its modern artwork consists of a large L-shaped comfortable sofa (which converts into a large comfortable double bed if required for a another person or a couple), coffee table and sideboard. There is a flat screen Sony Bravia cable TV with French channels and an English news channel, DVD, Bose sound system radio/CD player with IPOD/MP3 connectivity and internet connection by modem. Large double glazed doors lead out on to the terrace.
The ultra modern and efficient kitchen is open plan with the main living area and provides all the necessaries to dine at home. Well equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle and filter coffee maker. The breakfast bar with 2 stools provides a comfortable area for internal dining.
The main bedroom and bathroom are located at one end of the apartment. The bedroom has a double bed, 2 side tables with reading lamps and glass doors on to the terrace. The modern, compact shower room consist of a shower, vanity with storage cupboard, toilet and heated towel rail. A hair dryer is provided for your use.

One bedroomed apartment with a large exterior sunny terrace in the centre of town like this one are not easy to find! The terrace acts as an extension to the apartment and enhances the feeling of space.
Equipped with a wooden table with seating for 4 people and exterior lighting. Two electrically-operated extendible awnings provide you with protection for the sun making this area usable all day long.
A perfect spot to soak up the sun or have a little siesta in the shade!
Our local English/French speaking representative will meet you on arrival at the apartment, explain the facilities and give you the keys. They can also arrange to purchase some basic provisions for you should you require.
Compulsory end of stay clean payable in euros on arrival.
Linen packs are available, paid locally, or you can bring your own.
Prices for short stays (a minimum of 4 nights) are available on request.
Changeover day is flexible. Arrivals after 4pm and Departures by 10am.
Surcharge applies for late apartment arrivals from 8.30pm onwards.

Situated in the prestigious 'Quartier Musiciens' the apartment is perfectly located for easy access to the beaches on the Promenade, the main train station and the bustling shops on Jean Médecin - all of which are within a short stroll.
This quiet residential area named after famous musicians, such as Mozart and Verdi, is filled with authentic turn of the century buildings and wide boulevards, a delight to walk around and explore.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the Promenade were you can relax under the sun or enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch at one of the many seaside restaurants. There are luxury sun loungers and parasols for hire on the beach where you can soak up the sun or try some of the water sports available during the summer months.
The pedestrian area of rue de France with its many street cafes and the main shopping street of Nice, Jean Medecin are close by (5 minutes walk). The wonderful Old Town with its narrow streets is only a 10 minute walk away. Whilst in the Old Town you can explore the Cours Selaya with its daily flower market and weekly antique market - the colorful centerpiece to the many seafood and other restaurants which surround it.
For those whose interests lie particularly in culture, explore the many museums and art galleries in town including the Matisse Museum, Chagall Museum and the renowned Museum of Contemporary Art. Details of the Nice Opera program can be found at the Tourist Office.

We stayed recently at the apartment and due to air traffic control strikes had to extend our holiday , well that was really no hardship staying at such a lovely place. The apartment is spotlessly clean ,furnished to a very high standard and really has everything you could need or want on holiday. The large terrace is an added bonus particularly in Nice where any type of outdoor space is limited .the location is ideal 5mins to the beach /promenade and 5mins to the station for days out along the stunning coast line. This is our 9th time staying in Nice so it would be fair to say we love the place but the accommodation always plays a big part of making a good holiday and I would rate this place very high on my list of places to stay. Thanks to Kate for being so helpful when the strikes took place .

We loved the place, it is very clean and in a great location. The balcony is fantastic and is great place to enjoy outdoor meals and sunbathing.

"Unique apartment with a great location!"
We spent a holiday in April 2013 and the weather was between 15-22 degrees so we had lots of walking on the beach alley (10min from the apartment), we enjoyed a few drinks on the marvelous balcony, plus we spent a day in Monaco, Monte Carlo and Cannes... It's very well equipped apartment - you have everything that you might need - from oven and coffee machine to massive DVD collection... I'm in love with Nice... I'll definitely come back to France!

"Extremely well equipped apartment in an ideal location."
The apartment was very well equipped, clean with lots of useful information about Nice and the surrounding locations. The balcony was beautiful, with great views of the busy streets. excellent location for exploring, close to the train station, Promenade d'Anglais and the main shopping area. I would recommend this to anyone looking to immerse themselves into the heart of Nice in comfort.

"Lovely apartment, very well equipped and handy location."
Had a very good stay at this lovely apartment in August and it had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The apartment was only a ten minute walk to the train station and a number of restaurants etc although it was a fair trek from the old town, which we would have liked to have been closer to - but the fault was ours in not checking out the location as well as we could. We were very impressed by the DVD collection which was scrupiously catalogued and we enjoyed watching films when we got back after a meal out, from the luxury of the very comfortable sofa bed. We did find the main bedroom very warm at night and the fan was rather noisy, hence the move to the sofa bed in the lounge which had an excellent air-conditioning unit which kept us all comfortably cool. The terrace was a lovely bonus too and a great place for relaxing and eating outside. We had a lovely time in Nice and the apartment was a great base for exploring and we would highly recommend it.

"Excellent Apartment in Central Location"
My partner and I have just returned from a week in the Baquis apartment. The apartment was ideally located being within easy reach of the beach, train station, shops and old town. The apartment is very well equiped and if you choose to self cater it has everything you need. Kate, who greeted us at the beginning of our stay, gave us plenty of information on interesting places to visit and there is also a very useful folder with bus timetables, maps, restaurants etc. The apartment was clean and modern with a large balcony where you can relax in the late afternoon sun enjoying a drink or two after a long day exploring.

"Extremely well appointed and comfortable, a perfect place to stay in central Nice"
The apartment is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen area is easy to use and well equipped. The chaise end sofa is so comfortable after a day out sight seeing. The Musicians district is one of the nicest areas in NIce and the proximity to local shops and restaurants makes this a perfect place to stay in Central Nice. The West facing terrace is really great- we cant recommend this apartment highly enough-- we definitely intend to book again.

The property is modern,well furnished and ideally situated to explore the city.Local patissiries and boulangeries on the doorstep and onl 10 mins walk from the Old Town.The area is quite and well maintained.We had a super week and will definitely return
