Description

Location is key in Real Estate and Vacation home rentals: Casablanca Cottage is as good as it gets in this regard, ½ block to Queen street, the same to the grocery store and The Royal George Theatre.

The front porch is a summer hit with room for 6 people to sip wine and toast the Horse and buggies as they pass. The private side garden is a summer afternoon heat trap and your outdoor dining room. There is a Moroccan table that seats 6 and a Weber gas BBQ.

Inside the house are three bedrooms, two with Queen beds, one with two single beds. The beds will all be made for you when you arrive, with warm duvets in winter, and lighter duvets in summer. Each bedroom comes with two thick bath towels, hand towels are in the washrooms. The house also has three washrooms, two with showers and a ½ bath on the main floor.

The kitchen has everything you need to eat at home. The bedrooms are all upstairs so the main level is wide open for entertaining. The gas fireplace is wonderful on a cool day and on a warm afternoon you can open all of the windows and let summer in! If it is too hot, the house has central AC.

There is a flat screen TV with a High Definition feed that has the best picture you can imagine. The phone will allow free calling to about 60 countries and the Wi-Fi is better than what we have at home.

While certainly not the oldest house in town, it does have at lot of history. The home was built in the 1920s of reclaimed material. Some of the beams in the basement and have square nails poking out from a much older building and none of the windows are the same size.

Owner's reply: The goal is to have no issues when guests stay but 'Stuff happens" we will do everything in our power to make your stay in Casablanca Cottage or Marrakech Mansion as good as we possibly can. There is a Weber gas BBQ outside in the private garden, and a full kitchen inside for you to make use off.

Owner's reply: When you are in Niagara on the Lake or any other holiday destination you want to be close to the action. In NOTL, both of my houses (I own Marrakech Mansion as well) fill the location bill. They are within a block of Queen Street where most of the restaurants, shopping and theatres are located. They are our homes and we decorate and maintain them like we do our own so that you enjoy staying in them as much as you do your own home. Thank you fro your review and I hope to see you again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. My wife and I love Morocco and named both houses after favourite cities there. (Marrakech Mansion is ours as well) A clean house is a high priority and my cleaners take pride in their work and do the best they possibly can. This is our vacation home too, so we try to maintain it to the same standard that we do our own house. In fact my wife tells me son pretty regular basis that I take better care of the rental houses than I do our own!

Owner's reply: The house is 1/2 block from Queen Street which is nice in summer, but REALLY nice in winter. The grocery store is less than a block away as are several restaurants. The house has natural gas heat and a gas fireplace so it is nice and warm during cool weather. The three bedrooms all have warm duvets for winter and cooler duvets for summer. The duvets themselves are cleaned between seasons, duvet covers are changed after every guest visit and like the bed linens are laundered professionally so they are crisp and clean when you arrive. We have pets and we like to take them on vacation with us, so it is only natural that others would want to do the same. We try to approve every request for pets to stay in the house, although I did once turn down a pet pig! Thank you for your review and I hope to see you and your friends again.

Owner's reply: Well what can I say? It is all true:) The house is 1/2 block from Queen street, it does have a wonderful front porch and a private side garden, my cleaning people are proud of their work and do a wonderful job. The light over the dining room table was made in Istanbul and purchased from www.palmyradesign.com. I own the home and love it, I like the fact that others do as well.

Owner's reply: My wife and I love Morocco so we named both of my houses after that country. (Marrakech Mansion as well) If you are staying in Niagara the Lake you really need to in the Heritage district where you can walk to Queen Street, the Theatres and shops. Both of my homes are a block or less from Queen street. When we renovated both houses we tried to keep the best of the old and add modern conveniences that we all enjoy. The houses are mine; I love them and try to keep them like I do our own home. I am happy that you and your family enjoyed Casablanca Cottage and hope you can return in the future.

(I own Marrakech Mansion as well) Both houses are decorated in a fun Moroccan theme with bright colours plus antiques and handicrafts from Morocco. The fact that the houses are located in the Historic district of Niagara on the Lake makes for an easy walk to the shops, theatres and the lake. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Don (the owner) a message.

If Don (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
