The boat can accommodate six people comfortably.Outside there are two seating areas, one in the cockpit and another on the bow of the deck, plenty of room to lounge around relaxing, dining, reading a book, swimming, fishing or just listening to music. There is a dining table in the cockpit which can accommodate up to eight people. If the weather is exceptionally hot there is also a canopy which can be erected for shade. On the bathing platform at the rear of the boat is a hot and cold water shower for rinsing off after a swim. The kitchen is simply and effectively designed with Espresso coffee machine, a fridge, two ring gas cooker, double sinks and fully equipped for all your catering requirements.Moving into the main saloon or lounge area, there are two spacious seating areas around a central, low level table, C.D player, radio with an adapter for an Iphone. Music from the main saloon can be piped to the external seating area in the cockpit.Pipedreamer 7 is a luxurious boat, fully kitted out with colour coordinating monogrammed bedding and towels. The décor on board is geared to create an atmosphere of relaxation. There is also a tender for you to use to get back and forth from the boat. There is also a daily free return fare on the water taxi for each person. Please be aware there is no car ferry to Alderney, you can either fly in from Guernsey, Southampton or Exeter, alternatively there is a ferry from Pool or the Bumblebee service from Guernsey. Please do not book until you have arranged how you will get to the Island.

Please be aware that whilst staying on boats it is expected that for showering and using the toilet you will use the facilities on the quay, this saves on pollution in the sea. The toilets on boats are usually just used at night. This is common practice for on boats.

Location description from owner

The Channel Islands region

Pipedreamer's summer location is on a mooring buoy in Braye Bay, Alderney. At Alderney there is plenty to keep everyone entertained, from the youngest to the eldest.
Right by the mooring is the beach of Braye, sandy, sheltered and ideal for swimming, by the beach are various restaurants, cafes' and bars. Located here is the sailing club, fish and chip shop, convenience store, cycle shop and tourist information centre.
A short distance away towards the centre of the island is the village of St Anne, where you will again find a selection of small retail outlets, the museum, Church and various places to eat.
Alderney is a paradise for bird watchers; thousands of sea birds make it the most spectacular of the Channel Islands for bird watching. Sightings of Puffins, Fulmurs, Guillemots, Razorbills, Shag and Cormorant are regularly seen during the summer months.
An easy way to explore the Island is by bike on the Alderney cycle route, once you leave the small town of St Anne you will encounter little traffic and with over ten miles of paved roads and fifty miles of unspoilt tracks and pathways cycling is an ideal way to get around.

Newtown, Alderney

There are numerous suggested walks; one of our favourite is the Alderney Stones Walk, which takes you right round the Island on an eleven mile route, visiting sculptures created by Andy Goldsworthy. Andy chose Alderney for his project called the Alderney Stones; the project involved the construction and siting of eleven 5ft diameter, rammed-earth stones, each containing different material from around Alderney. With natural exposure to the elements over a period of time the materials are beginning to be unearthed, each stone being individual, creating and enabling continual interest.
For the less active amongst us there are guided bus tours and a short train journey, plus various available boat trips.
An additional bonus is that the owner of Pipedreamer 7 is a qualified Yacht Master, and is prepared for an additional fee to take visitors for a trip around the Island on Pipedreamer 7, or to Guernsey which would be a night stopover.
