Description from owner

Description

Cedar cottage at Highland Holiday Cottages is a one bedroom, but has space for up to 3 adults. Cedar offers all the luxury you could require while on holiday, so you can relax and feel like you're in a home from home.

The bedroom is light and airy, has a chunky kingsize bed, handmade from reclaimed planks and beams, along with an additional single bed and a newly fitted en suite bathroom.

Cedar also has a recently refurbished kitchen with everything you need, including plenty of cookware, microwave, and a new slimline dishwasher!

If it's a little chilly and you fancy a night in, you can light the eco friendly wood burning stove in the lounge, chill on the leather bean bag and surf the internet on free-to-access WiFi broadband or watch satellite TV and DVDs. The price includes towels and linen, and a large basket of logs for the wood burning stove, but excludes electricity which you pay by honesty box and card meter in your cottage (we make no profit from this charge).

“Return visits guaranteed”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2015

This is a lovely set of converted cottages in a great wee spot just off the A9 & easy to get to. I have recommended them to others already after my first visit last year. Despite being joined to others you have your own wee space to relax in & a wee seat outside to have your evening vino! No matter the weather it's a lovely spot to be in for either switching off or heading off to Aviemore/the Cairngorms. I have passed by this spot for many years travelling further North but would happily now swap to Crubenbeg.
