Description

Superbly sited in a secluded spot adjoining a paddock on the owner's land, The Red Bus is the ingenious transformation of a 1970s double decker bus into unique and highly unusual holiday accommodation.

This is a wonderfully peaceful location with only the bleating of sheep and the owner's friendly goats in the adjoining paddock to break the silence. There's wildlife in abundance here and of course lots of wonderful walks right on your doorstep. The views across the adjoining fields to the wooded hills of the Forest of Dean are truly spectacular.

The owner of The Red Bus has used his considerable talent, skills and imagination to create cleverly designed, highly attractive, practical living and sleeping spaces on both floors of the bus - a real masterclass in making the best possible use of the limited inside space available. You can also spill out on to the generous decking area outside which has a picnic table and further seating. There's a sandpit with

You can also spill out on to the generous decking area outside which has a picnic table and further seating. There's a sandpit with toys for smaller children just below and a firepit with cooking utensils and benches around it where all the family can gather and enjoy this magical setting. The deck is illuminated by soft 'fairy' lighting in the evening making this a truly special place to stay.

The Red Bus will accommodate a maximum of four adults and four children but is better suited for a total of six guests. NB maximum standing height on the bus is 68 inches (one metre 73).
