Description

This traditional cottage is ideal for couples seeking a countryside retreat.

The property comprises of one bedroom with a luxury king size zip & link bed giving the option of a king size bed or two singles, made with crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets and thick bath towels. There is also a full size cot available if required A modern bathroom with unlimited hot water for a bath or powerful shower, also a heated towel rail.

The living accommodation consists of a fully equipped, stylish kitchen/diner leading through to a cosy living room the focus of which is a wood burning stove.

A gift of fruit, flowers, biscuits and milk comes as standard and you can collect your own free range eggs every morning from the farms hens.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden, with a patio area with BBQ for you to relax and dine in whilst taking in the beautiful panoramic views of the Newlands valley.

The cottage offers off road parking for three vehicles and an outhouse to hang wet coats and boots to dry.

“Lovely cottage in lovely peaceful surroundings”

Had a lovely relaxing holiday at High Snab Cottage. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything in it. The cottage was a little secluded but we enjoyed the peace and tranquility. There are amazing walks and scenery right on the doorsteps. Derwent Lake is amazing with beautiful scenery and the kayaking is a must. We will be going back soon!

From the moment we pulled off the A66 and made our way through the quaint village of Braithwaite, we knew we were heading into some beautiful scenery. Ascending the winding lanes we finally spied High Snab Farm in the distance. We were given a warm welcome by Caroline and the moment we stepped into the holiday cottage we knew we'd stumbled across an absolute gem. The cottage was so cosy and warm and spotless throughout. We could not wish for anything more. Superbly equipped, an extremely comfortable bed and views from the bedroom, lounge and kitchen that one could admire all day long. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Tom and Caroline.

We stayed at the holiday cottage for 3 nights and I have to say it was perfect. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and was spotless. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location itself was amazing so beautiful and picturesque I can honestly say it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. I would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone and it's also very child friendly too. I would love to stay here again in future. Thank you Tom and Caroline.

Excellent cottage. Offered everything I expected and more. Great views and very quiet and relaxing. Decor inside gave it a very modern but country feel. The owners of the cottage were very friendly and welcoming. Log burner was definitely one of the highlights. If you are looking for piece and quiet, somewhere to relax and unwind then this is the place to go. Only 20 minutes away from Keswick town centre. Would definitely go back.

Spent 2 weeks during June/July, and a fantastic 2 weeks it was. The views are stunning. The cottage is well equipped ,and finished to a high standard. Would love to return! Nice to stay on a real working farm, and the host's are most welcoming!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Caroline & Tom (the owner) a message.

If Caroline & Tom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
