“BEST PLACE TO STAY IN THE BALTIC QUAY!”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2014

This is the 2nd time i stayed here when traveling for work. Both experiences during my stay have been great! The place is clean, the owner is nice and helpful, and the proximity to food, shopping, etc. is perfect. I will stay here everytime i travel for work!

“A lovely place to stay”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2014

I had to travel up north for a family bereavement. Karin was most helpful and never complained when i was a little bit late arriving due to heavy traffic travelling up. The apartment was very clean and tidy and homely. It was only a short visit but the apartment felt like home. A great place to stay for people who don't like hotels. Plenty of coffee shops close by and Tesco is just up the road. Its nice to walk along the quayside and it doesn't take long to walk over the bridge to Newcastle to browse around the shops.

“Excellent value, comfortable and convenient”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2014

I stayed at this Baltic Quays apartment with my daughter for 10 days. It is very spacious, warm quiet and comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen and three separate rooms. Karin was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. It was walking distance to Gateshead shops and to the sights of Newcastle city, Metro and to the bus station at Haymarket. The Quaylink buses stopping just outside the apartment building was great for when we couldn't be bothered walking.

Thanks helen...it was a pleasure meeting you and having you stay in my apartment:) Hope to see you again in the near furture xx

“A wonderful home from home experience”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2013

I met Karin at arranged time to collect the apartment key. The first thing I noticed when i got into the apartment was how clean and homely it was. I knew i would have a pleasant stay here. The location was great and i was there the weekend Great North Run was on. Tesco was just a short walk up the road. What i enjoyed the most was walking along Newcastle Quayside on an evening or just shopping in Newcastle. Plenty of things to do, looking at the Baltic art gallery or going to the Theatre. Next time i'm up Newcastle I will certainly book this apartment again. It felt like my own home and the wifi was easy to use. Hope this review will help others to decide before they book.

Many thanks for the lovely comments-was a pleasure to meet you. hope to see you refurn in the near furture x

“Very good stay.”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2013

Thought it would have two double beds by the pictures. Apart from that, was very good and had everything you needed. Near to everything you needed, ASDA, Newcastle town centre etc. Sam was a star and was very helpful with everything!. Very recommended!

Thanks for your review on your stay in one of my apartments:) Can i just point out that you stayed in "St james village apartment"-which has stated on the website 1 kingsize bed and 1 set of bunk beds. Hope to see you again in the near furture Kx

“Nice Appartment - Great Location”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2013

Nice apartment, a little on the small side but big enough for the three of us for a week. The kitchen is a bit small if you plan on doing a lot of your own catering however the location is great, a minute or two and you are on the milllenium bridge with easy access to to the bars and resturants of Newcastle Quayside. A walk up into town is about 5 minutes. Being on the third floor, the lounge has views over to the Sage music centre and up the river to the bridges. The apartment is owned and managed by Karin, who also has a number of other apartments in the area, given the location, the rates are good value. Originally from the area and with family and freinds in the area we have already stayed in an apartment in Curzon place a few minutes up the road also managed by Karin and already booked Baltic Quay for the Christmas break.

Thanks for the comments-see you and your family in December. x
