Bed either super king or two singles, and large en suite bathroom with bath and walk-in wet area shower, grab rails fitted, and plastic seat available, so ideal for elderly and some with mobility problems. Open plan living area, with French windows onto enclosed lawn, ideal for well behaved pets, a sheltered sun-trap when weather is kind! Large windows give panoramic view of Mourne Mountains. Rural aspect, close to seaside town of Newcastle. Scenic mountain & coastal drives. Convenient location for visits to Irish Republic, Belfast, Giant's Causeway, Sty. Patrick's trail. Ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling, sea activities, golfing, horse riding. Many activities can be arranged and tourist advice given by helpful hostess!

Beverly Annex is situated in a rural area on the outskirts of the seaside town of Newcastle, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. It is 2km from the town centre and beach, and 1.5km from Tollymore Forest Park, Maghera Inn (good food!), 1km from riding establishment, filling station and supermarkets.Close to bus routes, good taxi services.
On site is large garden and safe off road parking. Safe walking from accommodation.

Newcastle

County Down is on the south east coast of Northern Ireland. Within easy reach is historic market towns of Castlewellan (with forest park), Downpatrick (with Down Cathedral, St. Patrick's burial site, Down Museum and close to Struell Healing Wells), Banbridge (with Patrick Bronte's Homeland trail) and the border town of Newry (now designated as a city, with a cathedral, pedestrianised town centre and covered shopping precincts,. There are lots of safe, clean beaches, including drive-on Tyrella Beach. Ardglass and Kilkeel are active fishing harbours. Golf courses are world famous including the Royal County Down in Newcastle and Ardglass Golf course. For those interested in hillwalking, the Mournes are a joy, and fell-runners' paradise. Mountain-bikers, and cyclists in general, can find challenging and enjoyable routes.
