“A lovely cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings.”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2013

This was a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could need ( though a dishwasher would have been great). Otherwise it was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Appreciated the artwork throughout. Just across the road from the cottage, there is a wonderful coastal path which we enjoyed walking with our children and dog. It is only a short drive into Newcastle and there are plenty of places to eat/drink etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the cosiness of the cottage, the fabulous scenery and the company of Romany the donkey who got his daily carrot!

“Lovely small cottage with sea view on one side and the Mourne Mountains on the other”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2012

We rented this cottage for a long weekend to go hiking in the Mourne Mountains. It is spacious and clean and has all comforts (Power shower, central heating etc.). The location is perfect for hiking - several walks can be reached even without a car. Closeby Newcastle is not in walking distance but is a nice little town with loads of good restaurants and pubs!
