This property has the look and feel of an architect designed property that is about to be featured in a glossy magazine. Modern, unique and with fabulous finishing touches, this is a chic and stylish cottage set in quiet surroundings in a stunning location close to the river. It can also sleep an additional 2 guests on the double sofa bed.
The Cottage is set in a peaceful location close to the river Wye, with lovely walks and a local pub nearby. There are large bi-folding doors stretching the length of the house. Perfect for those wishing to enjoy the stunning outdoors and many activities nearby or just a peaceful break in stylish surroundings - it really is a grand design with an interesting history.
The kitchen includes a built in fridge and freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
The open plan lounge and dining area has a superb switch lit pillar box gas fire with 2 large 3 seater comfy sofas (one of which can be used as a double sofa bed). There is a home cinema surround system and Free Sat. Large bi-folding doors along the whole width of the house open out onto the large decking and garden area. Dining table has seating for 6. There are 3 steps down from the kitchen to the lounge/dining area.
Bedroom 1 is a Super king size bed (or can be made into a twin) with TV / DVD player and freesat. The en-suite wet room includes 'his and hers' fountain taps and a large shower area.
Bedroom 2 is a Super king size bed (or can be made into a twin) with TV / DVD player and freesat.
Master bathroom includes a jet-spa jacuzzi bath and hand held shower head. LED mood lighting throughout.
The large decked garden area faces West, making it perfect to enjoy the evening sun with a glass of coffee or wine. There are a table and chairs set and a BBQ.

The Powys region
This detached holiday cottage is situated in the Wye Valley, only a short distance from the banks of the river Wye. It is within walking distance to the local pub and general stores with the village on Newbridge on Wye. Builth Wells, the Home of the Royal Welsh and Winter Fair, is 5 miles away whilst the Spa town of Llandrindod Wells is only 5 miles to the East. The A470 offers convenient access to Cardiff and the rest of South Wales whilst the location is also easily accessible from Hereford, Worcester and the Midlands.
The Wye Valley Walk passed directly next to the cottage and is a stunning walk that in total runs 136 miles following the source of the river down to the sea. There are many other walks nearby to suit all levels including many treks and trails in the Elan Valley. Bird waitching is also very popular in the area with Red kites overhead and even kingfishers to be seen swooping across the river. For families there is the Quackers indoor play centre nearby and Swimming pool and Leisure Centre in Rhayader some 8 miles away.
Builth Wells Golf Club is a great course for all levels and is laid out in splendid surroundings. 5 miles. Llandrindod Wells Golf club is5800 yards in length and a par 69 overlooking the town. 5 miles.
Visit the Red Kite Feeding Centre in Rhayader and learn all about these magnificent birds and watch them swoop overhead. 5 miles.
Trekking and rides available in via The Llion Royal Hotel , with many different routes in the Elan Valley and surrounding courtyside. 5 miles
A wide variety of walks nearby and in the Elan Valley and Brecon Beacons. Wye Valley Walk passes yards fron the cottage 0.01 miles
Great road cycling on quiet country lanes and the National Cycle Route 8 runs through the village. 0.1 miles.
The Rhayader round Mountain Biking trails suit all levels and distances including 2 of the best downhill MTB trails in the UK. 6 miles.
The Wye is famous as one of the best Salmon, sewin (sea-trout) and wild brown trout rivers in Wales. Day tickets available from local club and fishing pools are yards from the Cottage. 0.01 miles.
The river Wye is popular as a navigable river with canoeists. Llangorse Lake, Pontsticill Reservoir (Merthyr Tydfil Sailing Club)
