Retreat from the vibrant streets of New York city into this sun filled East Village nest.

Centrally located,

a short 3-4 minutes walk from Astor Place station,

a 10 minutes walk from Union Square

and 12 minutes walk into Soho, Nolita.

Chinatown is also accessible by walk or a bicycle ride away.

East Village has all that NYC has to offer; the convenience of walking everywhere, multiple restaurants, supermarkets, farmers markets and organic stores, multitude of shopping boutiques (from high-end designer stores to second hand vintage shops), art, museums, theaters, parks, etc.

The apartment:

Perched one flight of stairs up in an early century period building, enter a large cosy one bedroom, filled with plants and a mid century modern touch.

The expansive sun-drenched living room is the core of this apartment.

Noguchi large coffee table, large velvet-linen sofa and antique leather bent wood chairs replace the formal dinning table.

The cocoon-like bedroom is dark and quiet, with a full size double bed.

The living room alcove is easily turned into an extra bedroom by drawing the linen drape curtains dividers and opening the sleeper sofa, which becomes a full size double bed.

The Restoration Hardware sofa in the living room is cosy and big enough to sleep one adult or just for a little nap before going out for NYC dinner experience.

The open kitchen has all the tools to prepare meals, including an under-counter 4 stages water filtration system, a toaster, a blender, a panini press, an Italian espresso maker, an electric kettle, etc.

The bathroom size is of the typical NYC early century building: tiny and functional.

Copper Union school Italianate brownstone masterpiece was the first building in NYC to be erected using Rolled Iron Beam.

Copper Union Foundation Building is one of Manhattan’s examples of modernist architectural. The architecture itself is unmistakable and its historical reputation is long-standing.

The Cooper Union is mainly an arts, engineering and architecture school founded by Peter Cooper. Apart from the interesting buildings, they have over the years had many previous presidents as speakers in their great hall. Well worth the visit.”

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emanuele (the owner) a message.

If Emanuele (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
