We enjoyed our stay at this lovely TriBeCa apartment. The photos reflect the spaces exactly as they felt. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The neighborhood was delightful. There was an excellent grocery less than a block away, a liquor store across the street and interesting shops all around. We walked uptown to Soho and especially enjoyed the Donald Judd house. We walked downtown to the One World Trade Center and the new World Trade Center station. There were excellent restaurants at every turn. with easy access to multiple subway lines. We had an wonderful stay.

The loft was exactly as pictured and described, and was a great deal for the price. The Tribeca neighborhood is excellent - lots of delicious restaurants, nice cafes, easy walk to downtown tourist locations, Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower East Side, etc. Great subway access too, so it is an easy commute to the museums uptown and Central Park. The neighborhood is very safe. Perfect for a couple or family.

It's certainly a dream to stay in a Tribeca loft and I would recommend this one. Our stay that month was very comfortable, with many amenities including WiFi, and a washer/dryer. In looking at rentals, many had nice spaces but tiny claustrophobic looking bedrooms with a bed against a wall. This was not the case here with a creative and comfortable use of bedroom space and a clean and spacious closet. Clean would be a a key word for the whole place, it was spotless and the kitchen very nice. The whole process was well executed with owner as contact, and the deposit returned promptly. The bathroom was just fine. It is on a quiet cross street, so noise was not a problem, plus I would say ditto for all positive things the other reviews have said regarding the area advantages. This is our second year in Tribeca, we love the neighborhood and look forward to returning plus staying longer.

We had a great stay here for Nov. Logistics were a breeze. Subway is a close walk. There is a great deli/grocery store also close by. The space was clean and extremely comfortable. We definitely would recommend it.
Date of Stay April 2015: This was a great find in Tribeca. Perfect for a couple, close to all of downtown- soho, west village, financial district, world trade centre & Chinatown. Also great subway links to all of Manhattan. The owner was delightful to deal with. Plenty extra towels & bedding. Plenty space for luggage, lounging, etc great overall experience and only one flight of stairs up. Would recommend highly.
Date of Stay/May 2014: The loft was as advertised and exceeded our expectations. It was clean with more than adequate linens and kitchen utensils. The street is quiet but close to Tribeca/Soho activities. 18 steps up to the loft. The owner was excellent to stay with.
Charming and Convenient/Guest: Tess (Hobart, Tasmania, aus)Wonderful Space! (Westchester, NY)Date of Stay: 07/2012 Review Submitted: This is a great find. Clean and nicely maintained. The owner goes to great pains to make the experience easy and hassle-free. Be assured the photos are very accurate. It is is surprisingly large (at least by NYC standards). The tall ceilings give you a great feeling of space. It has all the comforts of home, including a nice kitchen and laundry facilities. The neighborhood is terrific. Tribeca is filled with great restaurants, shops and galleries. You can walk to Soho or to Chinatown, take a stroll along the Hudson, or walk across the Brooklyn Bridge! This IS The Real NY experience! I stayed here with my wife and we will be back.
Location description from owner
The New York region
Lower Manhattan/Tribeca is a designated 19th century historic architectural district, with many cast iron and granite building facades. Many of the early foot friendly wide cobblestone streets are still in use. Much of the 19th Century iconic manufacturing buildings that made NY famous have been restored and converted to fashionable upscale loft housing. It is walkable to the new Freedom Tower site which is now the tallest bldg in US and is a major tourist mecca, as well as the hottest restaurants and boutiques of Tribeca and Soho and the art galleries of Chelsea. We are right around corner from the Roxy Hotel (former Tribeca Grande) on Franklin Street in Tribeca. This is the trendiest area in NY right now and home to NY's famous film industry, with much celeb spotting. It is a 5-10 minute subway ride to midtown shopping, theater and museums.

“Wonderful Tribeca Loft”
Don’t look any further … we loved our ten days in this wonderful Tribeca loft. It’s spacious and well equipped and very conveniently located, being just two blocks to the Franklin Street subway. There is a gourmet grocer one block away and a very good wine store on the block. The area has many restaurants (try Robert De Niro's Tribeca Grill) and galleries and while you’re there, make sure you treat yourself to a session at the Ancient Aire Baths opposite. Jillian, our host, was just great to deal with, totally professional and very helpful. There are no hidden costs or admin fees, no surprises, just a reasonable security bond USD500 (returned promptly post visit), a cleaning fee and the nightly rate to pay. You should know that there are 15 stairs to the front door, but please don’t let that put you off. We are mid 60s and, taking it slowly, had no problem getting our luggage up and, after all, you only have to do it once. Jillian will send you the keys which is a little different but make it work as this place is special, we loved it. Oh did I mention the towels ... no. Finally someone provides decent towels. They were great. Thank you Jillian. You're a star!! Our friends will be in touch.
