The large living room, which overlooks the beautiful private Queen Street Gardens,has a separate dining area. All bedlinen,towels,pillows and duvets are provided.

The apartment is a few minutes from Waverley Station by taxi. Wemyss Place is just off the busy Queen Street, which runs parallel to George Street. The main area of Princes Street is within walking distance.

The apartment is in a very quiet area and yet so close to all amenities and attractions, within easy walking distance such as Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, with Holyrood Palace a short drive away. There are many bars, restaurants, coffee bars and boutiques, several minutes away in Rose Street.

"High quality apartment in a great location"
The apartment is located on the first floor of a small group of classic Edinburgh flats, looking directly on to the private Queen Street Gardens; a key is provided to give you your own green space. Although only five minutes walk from George Street and Princes Street, you would never know that you were in the middle of bustling capital city; all you can hear is the occasional birdsong coming from the Gardens. The flat itself lives up to the 5* rating, and is furnished to a very high quality, with a nice dining table and a fully fitted kitchen, complete with dishwasher. The location is excellent for restaurants, with popular West End eating places found on George Street. There are also a couple of small places off Howe Street away from the town centre; Iglu is much recommended. Some practical points to consider: Wemyss Place and the surrounding streets have metered parking, and the longest you can stay is 4 hours during the day, however you can prepay the night before. The nearest long-stay car park is at St James Centre, at the other end of George Street. There is a small supermarket to the north side of the Gardens, with newsagents and coffee shops within easy walking distance. Note that George Street is closed to traffic at Charlotte Square, which it quite nice when sitting in one of the street restaurants, however this does mean that you should drive to the flat from the north; from the A90 turn off at Randolph Crescent, then follow the road through to Albyn Place and Queen Street, before turning back on the north side of Queen Street Gardens. All together a very fine experience, and would happily stay here during any future visits to Edinburgh.

"Exceeded all our expectations"
This is a beautifully appointed first floor flat in a quiet residential area very close to shops and good restaurants.The flat has a comfortable relaxed airy feel with high ceilings. My wife and I enjoyed walking in the private gardens overlooking the sitting room which the flat has access to. This is an ideal property for couples to enjoy a holiday break in Edinburgh.The flat is clean and well maintained with lovely furnishings. My wife and I really felt at home here and enjoyed our stay .We really appreciated the personal touch of the breakfast welcome pack. We highly recommend this property to anyone as we would to our friends and family.
