The Edinburgh region
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is located on the East Coast of the country at the mouth of the river Forth.
Steeped in history and dominated by its spectacular imposing Castle, Edinburgh is a beautiful city with something to offer everyone. The cobbled streets of the medieval Old Town, the classic Georgian beauty of the planned New Town and the eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars all combine to make Edinburgh a truly memorable destination.
Edinburgh is a major commercial and cultural centre and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of the unique character of its medieval Old Town and beautiful, planned Georgian New Town.
Every August, the city hosts the world renowned Edinburgh Festival and it's also famous for its New Year celebrations or Hogmanay.
Stunning Edinburgh Castle dominates the skyline and the main street, the Royal Mile leads from the Castle through the Old Town, with its historic buildings and quaint, cobbled streets towards the Palace of Holyrood House and Arthurs Seat, the remnants of an extinct volcano.
A fabulous choice for a city break, there is so much to see and do - shopping, museums and galleries, theatres, great restaurants or just walking around the city taking in the sights.

"Great apartment in a great city"
This is an excellent apartment, well furnished and equipped and has great views of the city skyline from the large living room with its huge windows. It's a short walk from the city centre but off the main drag so is reasonably quiet. We got a friendly welcome from Fiona the owner, felt thoroughly at home and would go back whenever we could.

"Home from home with the addition of the beautiful views"
This flat is perfect for those wanting to explore the city, it is only a short walk or make us of the brilliant bus services at the end of the road. The flat itself is everything you could want and more, it is so clean and bright with everything you could ever need. The flat is large even with 6 adults you didn't feel on top of one another. Fiona has been a dream to correspond with and made everything as easy as it could be, her homemade cookies are amazing. If you are reading this review, book it you really won't be disappointed.

"Perfect for central Edinburg & beyond"
We booked this apartment for a short stay in Edinburgh, it has a perfect central location yet peaceful and quiet location. The apartment is as described if not better and the covered parking is another added bonus. We wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.

"I would recommend to everyone"
Lovely quiet spacious apartment with a lovely touch of home made biscuits on arrival along with tea, coffee milk etc. Fiona was very flexible in letting us check in early and leave late as she didn't have any guests arriving that day. No need for taxis either as it's only a 10 minute walk to princess street and there's plenty of sightseeing books to read in the apartment. I'd definitely visit here again and recommend to anyone as great value for money
