Edinburgh's New Town is actually over 200 years old. It was built in the mid-to-late 18th Century to cope with the overcrowding in what is now known as the Old Town. Edinburgh's New Town boasts of great urban planning, combining elegant architecture with spacious and comfortable housing. the 'New Town' has now been declared a world heritage site.

Take a walk round the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens to the East of the city - just a relaxing stroll away.
Their cafe and restaurant is not to be missed and the kids and adults will love the shop.

Harvey Nichols Department Store and Multrees Walk for designer shopping. George Street also has many designer shops, and Princes Street has the usual high street stores.

“Excellent city centre property”

Well equipped city centre property. The property was close to local amenities. Property was clean and tidy and furnished to a high standard. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

“Wonderful 2BR in New Town Area”

I stayed here with my wife and another couple in May 2013. It was a great find. Great location off of Rose with access to many shops and restaurants right outside the door. You can walk to New Town within 5 minutes and to the Royal Mile in about 10-15. The apartment is modern and surprisingly roomy. It is on the second floor with a spiral staircase, FYI. Everything needed was provided and there was no trouble getting in and checking out. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was in great shape. We had a late train on the way out and the owner, Gareth, was nice enough to let us stay and keep our bags there. Very appreciated. We were able to walk with our bags to Edinburgh Station in about 10 min. Roughly a 20 min. cab from the airport. Overall, a wonderful place. I would definitely stay again and recommend to any travelling to Edinburgh.

“Quality apartment in a great location!”

What a great find! This modern, well furnished and equipped apartment had everything we needed and in such a great location, everything Edinburgh has to offer is within easy reach, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops literally right on the doorstep. We arrived just in time for the Festival fireworks, which we watched from the end of the street! The only downside was noisy dustbin collection but being so central far outweighed this. Gareth was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay here, would highly recommend.
