“Excellent accommodation- ideal for families”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2015

This ground floor immaculate apartment was ideal for our family. We were able to seat 8 comfortably in the kitchen for a family dinner to celebrate my fathers birthday. Yvonne was incredibly helpful when booking. The rooms were spotless & very comfortable. The apartment is ideally situated for a visit to edinburgh City centre. 10/10!

Owner's reply: Thank you for a such a wonderful review, and for taking the time to write it. I am glad you had a good stay and the apartment met all your needs. Haste ye back

“A home from home near the Pandas”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2013

This apartment is in a great location, a short but uphill walk to Princes Street and the Royal Mile. The hosts were very welcoming and the apartment was spacious, well maintained and well appointed. The dining kitchen is a great space for the family to be together. The local shop is really useful for milk, bread and eggs. Five minutes away are a host of eating places. The Edinburgh Pandas are a bus ride away. The castle, royal mile, the Britannia and the museums are within walking distance. A great place for a city break.

Owner's reply: Thank you for giving us a positive review and I hope we will see you and your family again soon.

“Fab apt with all mod cons in an ideal location”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2012

There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this apt. I stayed with my sisters, sister in law and Mam for 4 nights to celebrate my mams 60th birthday-it was ideal. Close proximity to the city centre (approx 10 min walk). The apartment itself boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and very generous living accom and kitchen. The beds were so comfy- it is a real Home from Home. Would def stay here again and would highly recommend this accomodation for any stay. The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating and we really couldnt have asked for more. Sabrina Co. Dublin

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review and we hope you will come back again.

“Friendly Welcome”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2012

Yvonne and her whole family went out of their way to be helpful, and aid with any enquiries. 46 E Claremont St was an easy walk from the centre of town, yet away from the crowds. For a family with children this is much more convenient than staying in a hotel, but a similar price.

Owner's reply: Thank you for a lovely review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and that we helped make it so. I hope we will see you all again.

“Absolutely Gorgeous”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2011

This apartment is street level and has 3 excellent bedrooms, one master with on suite The living room was very cosy, whilst still being spacious. The kitchen had a huge table in and was well equipped to a very high standard. The lady who owns it Yvonne I think, could not do enough for us and was very helpfull. It is in an excellent location about 15 to 20 minutes from Princess Street, The Stand comedy club is very close, as is the beautiful botanical gardens. Definately will stay here again, it was gorgeous in fact if I could I would move in !

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for such a fantastic review, we are delighted that you liked our apartment. Sorry about the toaster but we were advised at our firemaster inspection that toasters are a high fire risk. We do have one to give to people if they really cant manage without. Thank you again Yvonne

“The accommodation was great and the owners exceptionally helful and friendly”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2011

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, set in a very nice area with a corner shop a few doors away and a supermarket within a short walk. Access to the city centre was easy, with a bus stop a short walk away and very frequent No 8 buses into and out of town. Yvonne and James could not have been more accommodating and helpful

“Fantastic Accomodation which was very central with great facilities.”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2011

We are a family with 3 young children and just loved this beautiful apartment. It is in a great location, really close to the city centre but residential and quiet. The children loved the garden and the trampoline. My husband enjoyed the PS3 and free wifi. The landlady was very welcoming and showed us around the apartment. It is furnished to a high quality with a kitchen that anyone would envy. The Victorian style high celings made the apartment feel spacious. We enjoyed the Botanical gardens, walks along the Water of Leith and visited the many play parks that are within walking distance. It is great place to stay and we will definately return soon.

“Ideal location away from the hub hub of the centre”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2011

We were made very welcome on our arrival and shown around the apartment by the landlady (who lives close by). The apartment is ideal for getting around Edinburgh on foot (Princes street 10 mins walk) or by bus, so you don't need a car during your stay. If you do arrive by car (permits are required, which the landlord will supply), parking is easy.

Owner's reply: Thank you for lovely review and we are glad you enjoyed our apartment. We are glad you mentioned that we live nearby and are on hand for our visitors. We hope to see you again soon.
