The accommodation comprises of a well proportioned, twin windowed, south facing drawing room enjoying plenty of sunlight and retaining many period features. Comfortable cream sofas and armchairs are grouped around a marble fireplace which has a living flame fire and large over mantle mirror. An illuminated oak and glass cabinet houses champagne flutes and a coffee maker while carefully chosen lamps, rugs, pictures and soft décor provide an atmosphere of luxurious comfort. A dining area by the window completes this room and working shutters can be closed at night if required.

A small internal kitchenette is located off the drawing room and is well equipped with a dishwasher, a washer/drier, fridge/freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven as well as ample china, cutlery cookware and glass.

The attractive master bedroom enjoys a peaceful position to the rear of the building looking towards The Royal Botanical Gardens. It makes very clever use of space with plenty of fitted wardrobes and a small en-suite bathroom offering a bath with shower over, a basin and WC. The room is furnished with a superking sized bed and a comfortable cushioned window seat provides an ideal spot in which to sit and admire the leafy views beyond.

A second double bedroom is also located to the rear of the apartment and is furnished with twin beds and a deep window seat, an ideal spot for a quiet read.

This room has access to a separate contemporary shower room with shower, basin and WC.

New Town

Stockbridge is located within the City Centre’s New Town which forms part of the Edinburgh World Heritage Site and provides a wonderful place to browse the shops by day and to visit the bars and restaurants by night. The delightful cobbled streets contains shops selling antiques and quality gifts, speciality food, art galleries, second hand bookshops and vintage boutiques. You'll find coffee shops, deli's, famous traditional pubs and contemporary wine bars. Virtually next door to the apartment are the Glenogle Baths which have been restored to their original Victorian splendour and are well worth a visit for a morning dip or a trip to the gym. If you prefer a stroll out of doors, the Royal Botanical Gardens are only ten minutes’ walk away and the Water of Leith Walkway passes close by the apartment.
