“Superb Christmas week”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2014

Three generations enjoyed Christmas week in Dell lodge and East Dell. Arriving on a very snowy evening we found both properties warm with central heating and log burners already lit. Also Christmas tree and festive decorations . The quirky period touches make Dell Lodge quite unique.Underfloor heating in the kitchen and wet room were much appreciated. There was no problem cooking a Christmas meal for 11. Dishwasher and extra deep sink in Utility area coped well with the washing up! Plenty room for wet coats and boots at back door and in front conservatory. Good location for access to short or long walks. Although in peaceful countryside on edge of village the acess to Wifi was appreciated by the teenagers! Maybe that is how Santa Claus found his way to Dell lodge! Polly and Ross are welcoming and helpful.
