Description

Our four double bedroom house with private swimming pool and also access to the large community swimming pool is probably one of the best at Edificio Residencial Aljamar as it has a very large terrace. Being situated on the corner of the entrance to the Edificiio and opposite the large community swimming pool which our guests can also enjoy the sun is enjoyed on the villa terrace from early morning to evening most of the year round. (Note the pools at this Edificio are open in the summer months and usually not open Nobember through to Marh). It is on three different levels with the upper level accessed by the main entrance having a very large and well appointed kitchen, a large L shaped lounge/dining area and a toilet. On the second level going downwards there are three large double bedrooms housing inbuilt wardrobes and a separate bathroom. On the ground floor level there is the garage which can house easily park up two cars or can be used in parts as a teenager's den or store.

Another bathroom is housed here , a further internal double bedroom and if you are seeking a 10 bedded villa there is a small internal bedroom housing two individual beds. So for a large family or a group who wish to spend their holiday time together the renting of this house can work out to be very economically. Residencial Aljamar itself is one of the most popular and elegant zones in Nerja as it is surrounded by green areas with plenty of car parking space. It is a peaceful haven and very popular. In fact the site has had to be electronically gated so that only the guests at the Edificio and the owners can use the community swimming pool.Being so close to the popular beach of Burriana is another reason why it is so popular and with the Spanish supermarket Supersol and Mercadona also being within a short walking distance means the zone is in an excellent position for holiday makers. WIFI IS AVAILABLE AT THIS PROPERTY AND IT IS FREE. Our spacious apartments Aljamar 4 and 5b at the Edificio are also available for renting. So please view these if you are planning to come with a larger group and you are needing more properties closeby to rent.Our prices quoted and agreed do not include electricity for the months October to April so we ask our guests to pay for the electrical consumption used during their stay in those months which can be easily calculated as the electricity meter is near to the front door. (This villa is not centrally heated - it is equipped air conditioning and with radiators.) Extra items such as cots, high chairs etc. are available so please let us know when you book what your requirements are likely to be so that we can be sure to have the villa prepared in the way you would like. We have also provided quotations in Euros. If you wish to pay in pounds sterling this can also be arranged.Just a word about smoking - we do not encourage this in any of the properties and would ask you in the interest of all our guests only to smoke on the outside terraces,

The Costa del Sol region

It is often said that the province of Malaga is a small continent and somewhat pretentious. As this might sound there is a small element of trust in it. Although the smallest province in Andalucía measuring 7272 km it is indeed a land of contrast with mountains, sea, rural and mountain villages and sophisticated tourists resorts all to be found. the 161 km coastline of Malaga is mostly each and hence the finest restaurants are within shouting distance of the beaches. The best climate can also be found and very often it is in Nerja which records this. Nerja is situated just 45 minutes drive from Malaga and has all of the attractions mentioned abo. It is a little gem of a town and with mountains used as a backcloth the zone enjoys not only the finest days of sunshine but also is often free from the winds and rain of other zones in the area. Nerja is blessed with 9 beaches with the Burriana beach just 0.4 km away or within a 5 minute walk. Like all beaches in Spain which boast a blue flag status you can find many water sports at the beach to suit a wide variety of choice, restaurants bars and cafes again to suit different taste buds and moods with many of those at the frontline providing sunbeds, and shaded areas as well as on the beach itself showers and public toilets.Many of the villages and small towns in the remote parts of the Malaga Province were built in places that were difficult to get to, an essential defensive element in days gone by. Being built on the side of a mountain the streets are generally narrow, winding and steep and this leads to an architectural style which is exclusive to Andalucía. Now their remote layout makes these mountain villages ideal for rural tourism and the mountain village of Frigliana nearby to Nerja (with taking a short 10 minute bus ride or drive away) is a fine example.The strategic location of the Costa Del sol, as the gateway to Africa, does give tourists to Nerja an opportunity to visit nearby Gibraltar and other nearby tourist zones such as Ronda and Granada. Coach trips to these zones are provided from Nerja most of the year round. Nera with it's all year round tropical climate is probably the best kept secret of Spain retaining the features of a smallspanish working town blessed with fantastic beaches and it is no surprise to us that our villa attracts guests not only in the summer months but also longer term guests for the winter months.

Nerja

Our owner direct villa is closely situated near to Burriana Beach on the east side of the old Andalucian town of Nerja. We chose this location to build this property when it was built in 2003 as it is situated in a green belt area and provides a peaceful zone to relax and enjoy a holiday or longer stay. Being so close to the beach and shops not all of our guests hire a car which although not essential is probably useful for touring and shopping etc. If you like the sun this villa is ideal for you as the sun is on the terrace from early morning to night time. The terrace is particular large and also contains an small private pool but for those who wish to swim the community shared swimming pool (which is at the right of the entrance on the main photo) is great and also has sun most of the day. Edificio Residencial Aljamar is perhaps one of the most elegant electronically gated zones in Burriana blessed with car parking space and those with a particularly large car will not be disappointed by the size of the garage as it can accommodate more than one car with comfort. For those who like to shop early and obtain fresh bread for breakfast the short walk to the nearby Spanish supermarket is open from early morning to 9.15 in the evening and in July and August it is also open on a Sunday. Immediately in front of the villa there is a green valley so many of our guests have described Edificio Aljamar as "a peaceful haven". The villa does have a fifth area comprising two single beds and whilst we do not advertise our villa as accommodating 10 people we have found that this area has been used for a peaceful place to take a siesta.
