Description

This stylish apartment has been totally renovated throughout and has been furnished to a high standard with the comfort of guests in mind. The property is on the much sought after Urbanisation, Oasis de Capistrano, in Nerja, close to Burriana Beach and surrounded by peaceful lush tropical gardens with 3 swimming pools available. The main pool area is surrounded by lawns with more than sufficient pool side sunbeds. There is a cliff path down to Burriana Beach next to a very picturesque aqueduct which is less than 50 metres from the apartment.

Nerja, with its many shops, bars and restaurants is walking distance, however, the local 'little blue bus' into and from Nerja leaves from the complex every hour. Additionally the famous 'Caves' in Maro are a delightful walking distance away as is the charming village of Maro. A car is not necessary unless you want to explore this truly lovely part of Andalucia, Granada is 2 hours by car as are the Ski slopes of Sierra Nevada. The airport

This south facing apartment is on the ground floor and has a small walled garden and then 5 steps leading up to a good sized terrace. Additionally there are two private internal courtyards which are accessed via French Windows in the bedrooms. One of these courtyards contains the washing machine and facilities for drying clothes, beach or bathroom towels.

The private terrace is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing as it is very private and not overlooked by any other property it has a glass table and seating/ sunbathing for 4.

The pool/bar/restaurant area is just a one minute walk away. There are plenty of sun loungers available at the pool with small charge in the peak summer months and a very good bar which serves drinks and snacks. There is also a shallow child's pool for the little ones.

Casita Escondida (hidden little house) overlooks the stunning tropical gardens that Oasis de Capistrano is famous for. Palm trees and numerous flowering plants abound and immediately adjacent is a large carp filled pond with waterfall and fountain.

The apartment has all the conveniences necessary, including free Wi-Fi and cable television which includes Sky Sports. There are two large grocery stores 500 metres away

We appreciate luggage restrictions imposed by the airlines and accordingly provide beach/pool towels in addition to bath and hand towels.

The stylish new kitchen with its Andalucia style breakfast bar has granite worktops and electric appliances, including electric kettle, toaster, coffee pot and microwave. There are plentiful dishes, glassware, tableware and cooking implements all of a high standard with a small set of plastic ware for the children. The appliances are brand new and include glass convection cook top and an electric fan oven. There is also a small toaster oven for your convenience.

The renovated bathroom has been tiled throughout and has a large walk in shower bordered by glass bricks. The basin is set in a marble surround and has good storage beneath it for your toiletries. There are hooks for towels.

The sitting room has 32" flat screen cable television which includes Skye Sports 1 and 2, BBC channels, ITV and many more. There are also Spanish, French, German and Swedish channels. A large comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs. The dining table seats 4 comfortably and can be extended.

Each bedroom has a large built in closet (hanging and shelves) including plenty of space for suitcases. Bedroom 1 has two single beds with memory foam mattresses these are placed together but made up separately, they can be moved apart should you so wish. There are two bedside reading lights and a chest of drawers. French doors lead into an internal courtyard.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed with a comfortable Ikea mattress topper with two reading lights and French doors to another internal courtyard. Both bedrooms have large ceiling fans.

Please restrict smoking to outside areas, no smoking allowed inside the apartment.

The Costa del Sol region

Nerja is east of Malaga and enjoys a year round sunny climate. The winter months are very temperate, accordingly, many visitors chose this time for their holiday. It is an area surrounded by tropical fruit production with many exotic fruit plantations all along the coast.
The town is well served by motorways making places like Granada with the world famous Alhambra any easy day visit.

Nerja

Nerja is an hour east by car from Malaga and is quite different from those resorts to the west. It is a charming, very picturesque and friendly Spanish seaside town which has not been ruined by high rise development. There are many winding narrow interesting streets offering excellent shopping.
There are several beaches to choose from, each with it's own character. The beach closest to the apartment is the award winning Burriana Beach offering many watersports, bars and restaurants.
The famous Balcon de Europa in the centre of town is stunning offering views along the cliffs of the Costa Tropical. Sidewalk cafes are plentiful and it is a special place to enjoy 'people watching' in the warm sunshine!
There are endless opportunities for trips out from Nerja, inland into the white villages in the hills and along the coast road the drives are spectacular.
Within 500 metres of the apartment is a Tennis club which welcomes visitors and has a friendly bar!

“Excellent location, comfortable, welcoming and good value”

A great experience from start to finish. Owner extremely helpful with directions, recommendations and updates on the weather! Apartment had everything we needed and owners provided great welcome pack; a really nice touch. The Oasis in which the apartment is set is beatiful with very well established trees and flowers. Birds serenade throughout the day. It is idyllic. Nice beach and restaurants are accessible on foot via a shortcut for the more adventurous walker or via road (around 20+ minutes walk) and there are plenty shops close at hand. Highly recommended.
