The townhouse is one of 4 in a small well maintained private urbanisation. The flooring/staircase throughout are marble/marble style tiling. All windows/doors are fitted with shutters/grills, which help keep the house cool in summer and make it completely secure, together with an electronic safe. For the winter months there is heating provided in all the rooms in the house. Parking is available outside the property, and a large paying carpark is available very nearby. There are several supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. Many bars and restaurants are just a short stroll away.

The entrance to the property is a lovely area with orange trees and wooden benches, together with a large secluded lawned area with gardens around the property. The communal gardens and newly renovated pool (open June-Oct) are right next to the townhouse, just a minutes' walk to get to the pool. The townhouse is located within the urbanisation, and therefore quiet, as minimal traffic (not next to a road) or other noise nearby.The sunny private patio area is walled with plants and climbing flowers and has a modern table and 6 chairs, also provided is a sun umbrella and sun awning.There is also a BBQ available for use. The roof terrace has 2 sun loungers, small table and sun umbrella. A laundry/storeroom is located here with washing machine, clothes lines/horse and drying facilities.
Booking periods are usually Sat/Sat in summer months, otherwise we try to be flexible. Checkin is at 2.00pm and checkout at 10.am. Again we will try to be flexible - if this is possible. The price includes a weekly change of bed linen/hand & bath towels & (Beach towels not provided, please bring these with you). The price also includes air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Discounts will be offered for long winter rentals.

A place still exists on the Costa del Sol which lies between small coves untouched by development and surrounded by an impressive mountain scenery. At the easterly end of the province, only 50kms from Málaga and within 1 ½ hours drive from Granada (famous Moorish Alhambra and skiing in winter), you will find Nerja, the touristic capital of the Axarquia.
With its mild climate, you can enjoy yourself the full year round and take advantage of the relaxed way of life of a village that still retains much of the character of its moorish past. Today, Nerja offers an excellent range of quality accommodation and leisure time facilities. There are thirteen kms. of beaches, including the internationally famous Burriana beach that has once again been awarded the Blue Flag of the European Union and the small coves below the impressive cliffs of Maro, which have been the inspiration of numerous artists who have set up residence here.
Lovers of the nature can enjoy the wonderful countryside in the area, camping at the campsite or in the camping zone in the parkland. For those who seek alternative activities on their holidays, there is fishing, diving, golfing, waterskiing, canoeing, water bikes, hiking, cycling, horseriding, jeep safaris, paragliding, waterparks and much more.
The historic centre, that begins in the Balcón de Europa (Balcony of Europe), was constructed around 1487. Former 9th Century Castle, it is now a viewing point above the sea. To the side of the Balcón, you will find the 17th Century El Salvador Church, constructed in baroque-mudejar style. You may also visit the 16th Century Nuestra Señora de las Angustias Hermitage with its paintings by the master Alonso Cano.
In the old quarter of town, typical small shops offer local craftworks and products of the area, including the sweet wine and olive oil, honey and tropical fruits. At the beach and fish restaurants you can enjoy the “pescaito frito” (fried fish), whilst the many international restaurants in town offer a wide variety of menus to suit all tastes.
Nerja retains its traditional festivals: the Feria (October), Holy Week (Easter), the San Isidro pilgrimage and the festivals of San Juan and Día del Carmen are also celebrated in their own special way. There are a wide range of cultural events throughout the year. Of particular note is the acclaimed “Nerja Caves Festival”, which takes place amongst stalactites and stalagmites, which were formed over millions of years. The Nerja Caves are currently the 3rd most visited monument in the whole of Spain.
The famous village of Frigiliana is only a few kilometers away, as is the 3rd most visited tourist site in Spain - the Nerja Caves. The 1st most visited site is the Alhambra Palace in Granada - an hours drive from Nerja. ( Booking is essential).

"Fantastic Townhouse - highly recommended"
We have spent many holidays in Nerja but it was our first stay in the townhouse. Our first impressions were how bright, airy and spacious the house was. It is conveniently located for the shops, restaurants and the centre of town. The house included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable including a selection of games and books that came to our rescue during the inclement weather. We would highly recommend the house to anyone thinking of going to Nerja and would not hesitate in staying in the house again.

"Lovely house, perfect location!"
My husband and I had a fantastic week in the townhouse last week. It is perfectly situated betweeen the beautiful town and Burriani Beach. A very well presented house with everything you would need for your holiday. The private terrace and roof terrace were fantastic and it was such a relaxing holiday. Would not hesitate to recommend this townhouse to our friends and family. Thanks again.

"A gem in Paradise"
If you like Spain you will love this property. It is situated in a residential area at the heart of what has remained a typically Spanish area of Nerja. It is within easy reach of a variety of supermarkets and the centre of Nerja is also nearby. Within easy walking disatnce too, you will find an amazing variety of restaurants, tapas bars and ordinary cafes/bars. The property is spotlessly clean. well maintained and furnished to a very high standard. My only hesitation is that the property will prove too popular. I cannot wait to return.

"Great Location and Excellent value for money"
We had a fantastic time in your townhouse it was comfortable and lovely and the air condtioning was a blessing as it was very hot .the townhouse was modern and you accomodate for everything even a shopping trolley ,this was our 5th time in Nerja and we couldnt fault anything Thank you for allowing us to rent out your home we will hopefuly return in the near future

"Beatifully appointed townhouse, excellent location and immaculately clean."
This is the best accommodation you could wish for. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the only things you need to pack are your clothes. Situated ideally between the centre of Nerja and a beautiful beach, the townhouse is a home from home. Tastefully furnished and well appointed, I could quite happily have stayed forever

"Ideal location for long winter stay, very central,quiet and so well equipped"
My wife and I stayed here for 3 months from Jan-Mar 2012. The townhouse is in a perfect location for walking around town and the beaches. There is no need for a car as everything is within such a short distance. The house is very comfortable and well maintained, surrounded by gardens. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for a rental property - everything you could possibly need is provided. There is a lovely private patio for al fresco eating, and a sun roof, handy for laundry. It is very safe with the usual Spanish security grills on doors/windows and a safe is available for valuables. The house was immaculate when we arrived with good quality bed linen and towels provided. In addition the weather for our stay was wonderful

"A well presented prpoerty and a good loaction"
My wife and I stayed in Casa Azul in May/June 2012. The property is a town house in a good loaction for the town and beaches. The property is well maintained with a good standard of fixtures and fittings. Dealing with the owner was a very easy process, and all documentation clear and precise.

"Perfectly positioned, clean and well equipped house"
We returned for another stay in this property and were not disappointed. We particularly like this part of Nerja and the property is so well equipped and comfortable. It is always spotless when we get there and having the bed linen/towels provided is such a help.
