Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Nercwys

Situated close to a well-known Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the pretty village of Nercwys boasts a lovely green, an old church and a traditional pub. Set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd this charming village offers easy access to the surrounding hill ranges and Nercwys Forest - both of which provide wonderful walking, horse-riding and cycling routes. The area is an excellent location for bird watchers and nature lovers due to the Long Eared Owl population and the resident Muntjac Deer. Nearby is the busy market town of Mold which offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst slightly further afield is the Jacobean Nercwys Hall which was built in 1638 and boasts a display of over 20,000 articles known as the Gathering of Jewels.
