There are wooden floors throughout, two double beds downstairs and a large fenced garden all around. There are two toilets - one ensuite upstairs, and the downstairs one with bath and shower. There is plenty of room to park one or two cars/trailer next to the house, off the track. All the bedrooms and the living room have views across the lake. Spend your evenings sipping a glass of wine at the outside table as you watch the sun set over the lake, or inside in front of a roaring fire in the wood-burning stove. Designed so as to be accessible to people with mobility difficulties (though not wheelchair accessible).

Location description from owner

The Province of Munster region

The cottage sits on the edge of Co. Tipperary and looks across Lough Derg to Co. Clare. The local town of Ballina-Killaloe spans the River Shannon at its narrowest and brings together the two counties. The lovely little town has lots of cafes, pubs and small independent shops to browse around, as well as a supermarket and places to hire boats, bicycles and arrange horse riding. You can also find the local tennis club, and a great adventure playground. The golf courses and water sports are also accessible from here. The region is famous for its traditional music, farming and natural wild beauty. And of course, for Munster Rugby whose famous stadium, Thomond Park, is just 30 minutes drive away.
