Description

The mill of Pont-Rilly is in the center of the peninsula, 30 minutes from the beaches of the west coast, where families have the opportunity to practice all sorts of water-sports, including sailing and boating.
On site, we offer the possibilities to fish in the river, situated just on the edge of our hiking trail, and to enjoy the park and garden, as well as the Castle winter garden.
The small town of Valognes is just 5 minutes away and offers a cinema, swimming pool, traditional market on Fridays as well as supermarkets and grocery stores.
There are also doctors, pharmacists and hospitals, just in case.

Further details

A small well-behaved dog will be allowed, but please, no cats. We have 3 of our won and I fear they would not get along.

We provide also all linen: sheets, towels, tea towels and napkins.

Further details indoors

The mill comprises: 2 double bedrooms with 2 double beds and one double room with 2 twin beds and two extra beds, two

Location description from owner

The Basse-Normandie region

The climate of the Cotentin region is always quite mild, it is never very cold but never very hot, making it a very pleasant area to live in.
It is also ideal for hiking and sports of all kinds, such as horse riding, tennis, cycling, canoeing, and all sorts of water-sports. Luckily, we are 15 minutes from the beaches.
The long hikes in "The Hague" are wonderful, and we would highly recommend them.
The city of Cherbourg offers a museum of very diverse paintings. The works exhibited rang from the Renaissance to the early 20th century.
You can also visit the "Cité de la Mer"/"City of the Sea," which is an aquarium, where you can see the former atomic submarine "Le Redoutable" which was decommissioned and is now open to the public.

Negreville

In June, we have a music festival called "Jazz sous les pommiers" / "Jazz under the apple trees" in Saint Lo (45mn)

In July and August we also benefit from the Early Music Festival of the city of Lessay (30min)

There are also classical music concerts in August in the city of Valognes (5mn)
