High Cunsey Farm is a semi-detached cottage situated on the shores of Lake Windermere, near the village of Sawrey in the Lake District National Park. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting one four poster double, two doubles, one of which is on the ground floor and one twin, as well as a bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with an open fire and a first floor sitting room. Outside there is off road parking for four cars and a front patio area with furniture. High Cunsey Farm is an ideal family base in a quiet location for close to many places of interest.

Near Sawrey

The village of Sawrey consists of two separate hamlets - Near Sawrey and Far Sawrey - both of which offer picturesque cottages, tea rooms and pubs. Near Sawrey is famous for Hill Top, the 17th century farmhouse where Beatrix Potter lived, and today it is owned and run by the National Trust. There are a number of walking routes in the area, as well as Lake Windermere.
