The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, off road parking for two cars and a patio area with furniture. High Cunsey Cottage is an ideal base for watersports, visiting the many attractions in the area, or a place to rest and relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Near Sawrey

The village of Sawrey consists of two separate hamlets - Near Sawrey and Far Sawrey - both of which offer picturesque cottages, tea rooms and pubs. Near Sawrey is famous for Hill Top, the 17th century farmhouse where Beatrix Potter lived, and today it is owned and run by the National Trust. There are a number of walking routes in the area, as well as Lake Windermere.
