Very Good

“Highly Recommended. Lovely period Features.”

Reviewed 2 Mar 2015

I recently stayed in this apartment for 5 days with my wife and three young children and thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The husband and wife owners were very polite and helpful both before and during our stay and went that extra effort to ensure we were well looked after. i particularly love the period features of the apartment that include the original solid wood ceiling beams and the century old traditional wooden barn door that the owners have stylishly turned into a headboard for the bed. The scenery itself in this medieval mountain top village is very picturesque and one thing i particularly enjoyed is eating and cooking with the local fresh produce of the area. i would highly recommend this apartment; especially considering the relatively low rates that the owners rent it out for.

“Very nicely decorated appartment, comfortable and clean from most friendly and hospitable owners.”

Navelli is a very nicely located little village in the middle of the interesting region of Abruzzo. There are lots of historical sights to visit closeby and you have impressive(rough!) nature all over. Be aware that most of the time you are in a very quiet place, but depending on the time of the year there will be festivals going on with lots of good food, interesting crafts and of course, lots of people comming to celebrate. It really is a place to discover away from the crowded touristic centers!
