“Last minute break”

Reviewed 17 May 2018

Lovely area to stay. Greeted by the very friendly owner who provided bread, milk, tea, coffee and welsh cakes. A lovely touch! The grandchildren enjoyed the lovely outdoors and the Alpacas in the field. The beds were so comfortable and made with beautiful freshbedding A few tips to consider though. Disappointed with not being able to use the barbecue as it was rusty, wobbly and very unsafe. I understand this cottage is in the process of being updated and think it would help if the owners replaced the barbecue and the garden furniture too. There was a leak over the cooker when it rained and this was reported to the owner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

“Would thoroughly recommend”

Friendly hosts, lovely cottage, great location. All that you need for a relaxed getaway. Couldn't have asked for more from our long weekend. Oh, and the Alpaca's add to the charm :)

Owner's reply: thank you very much. so glad you enjoyed it x

“Perfect family cottage - close to all major venues”

The kids loved the holiday. The cottage is in such a great location to all attractions. 10mins - Tenby, 10 mins - Folly Farm, 10 mins - Dinosaur Park. The cottage itself is bigger than what the picture suggests. The living room was great for the kids to unwind after a tough, adventurous day. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom is more than suitable. The location is very private, kids can happily play outside safely and try searching for the Llama's. Great value, private, child friendly, great location - a massive thumbs up.

“A lovely holiday retreat with seaside and countryside.”

Bramble Cottage is a picturesque, stone built bungalow surrounded by fields and rural views (with grazing horses). A shaded walk along a bridle path brings you to a lovely unspoilt, often secluded beach at Wiseman's Bridge. This is a real gem of the Pembrokeshire coast. From here you can walk along the beach to Saundersfoot at low tide to visit restaurants and shops. Or you can settle down in your own sandy spot. There is also a pub at Wiseman's Bridge. The cottage is bright clean and refurbished inside with all you need and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful.
