Terrific holidays on a farm in a spectacular location

La Singlarie is an organic farm in a unique setting with panoramic views of the medieval village of Najac, one of the “Plus beaux villages de France” and a “Grande Site Occitanie”

Our aim is to provide a fantastic holiday experience and produce of the highest quality for our guests and customers.

If you want to take a step back from the rush of modern life and relax in a unique setting, visit the local area rich in history and culture, hire a kayak or bike, go horse riding or taste the local cuisine in the many local restaurants and bars, La Singlarie provides the perfect base.

At the farm there is plenty to keep guests occupied, getting to know our animals iun a natural environment, helping at feeding times , taking a relaxed stroll or just soaking up the unique setting.

Our converted stone barn has two well appointed and spacious gites retaining a traditional style but with modern fixtures and fittings. Each has been designed to offer privacy with large private terraces giving spectacular views across the Aveyron valley to Najac’s ruined château, the medieval village and surrounding countryside.

La Singlarie II benefits from:

Very spacious accommodation for families, groups and couples on two floors with 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a large family bathroom. The large terrace and private garden has the most incredible views of Najac.

Wifi internet connection is provided free of charge.

The Ground Floor – Well appointed oak kitchen, open plan to the very spacious living and dining areas with oak beams, exposed stonework and ironwork. There is plenty of comfortable seating including a sofa bed for parties above 7, a music centre.

French doors open to the private terrace and garden, with panoramic views of Najac and the surrounding country side, equipped with large table, chairs, sun loungers and BBQ.

Family bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and wash basin.

Single bedroom with views across the farm.

Master bedroom with en-suite including shower, WC and wash basin. Large arched French doors open to views across the farm and to Najac and the surrounding countryside.

A cot, high chair and stair gate are available free of charge.

Our stone barn houses La Singlarie II an exceptionally spascious holiday home - renovated in 2007 to provide a clean modern environment with all the amenities you need whilst retaining its character featuring stone walls, oak beams. Rustic tiled floors wooden floors through out the rest of the gite.The Ground Floor is large with a living area with plenty of comfortable settees and chairs coffee and occasional tables. There is a TV for use with the DVD (not terrestrial TV channels) and music centre with open access to the free wifi service. The dining area has seating for 9 around a large solid wood table. A high chair is available at no charge. The kitchen is equipped with a good range of work surfaces and utensils and cutlery, plenty of cupboard space, oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. From the living area a large arch with arched French doors leads to your private terrace and garden with the most incredible panoramic views of Najac and the surrounding country. A large patio table, chairs, sun loungers and BBQ are provided.

Inside again a central oak stair case leads to the First Floor with bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds are provided with good quality bed linen and the bathrooms with towels, all included within the price of your stay.First is the large twin bedroom character bedroom, with two single beds, plenty of storage with arched window and views across the farm. Next to the twin bedroom is a good sized double bedroom, well appointed and with the benefit of an en-suite. A central corridor leads to a bedroom with single bed and opposite is the large family bathroom with bath/over head shower, WC and wash basin. A baby bath is available at no charge.Finally the corridor takes you to the large master bedroom with arch and French doors opening to look out across the farm and to Najac The bedroom has a roomy en-suite and additional seating. There is a separate room external to the gite housing the washing machine which is shared with our other gite.

The farm provides a spectacular and peaceful location from which to explore this beautiful part of France.Our guests are free to take advantage of the tranquility and privacy that La Singlarie offers. We will be delighted to show you the private walks through our woods that are home to a fantastic range of animals and plant life (although you will need to get up early to spot a family of wild boar!) and to give you a tour of the farm.Our woods are well known locally for the famous cèpes, a wild mushroom delicacy to be found in August and September, wild strawberries in June; chestnuts in the autumn and wild asparagus in the spring.We produce organic beef and free range pork that is available to our guests as is other produce such as chicken, duck and fresh eggs daily and when in season vegetables and fruits.
