The villa is on the Mar Menor Golf Resort which is a great place to go on holiday. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing break. Enjoy the private pool in the large rear garden, sun bathe on the terrace around the pool and dine alfresco on the patio. On site there is a 5 star intercontinental hotel, an 18 hole golf course, driving range and putting green, gym, spa, tennis, table-tennis, bars, restaurants and a supermarket.

Just 10 minutes drive away are the unspoilt sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. Why not hire a boat or go on a fishing trip? If you fancy a day out shopping, the cities of Cartegena and Murcia are closeby, as are a number of Spanish markets.

Meanwhile for the golfers there is a Jack Nicklaus 18 hole golf course on site and at least 8 other championship courses just a short drive away.

The villa is beautifully furnished to the highest standard with original Spanish paintings and good quality furniture. All linen and bath towels are provided. One of the twin bedrooms is on the ground floor and suitable for elderly or infirm guests who cannot manage stairs and there is shower room adjacent to this bedroom which has recently been refurbished.There is also a cot, high chair and baby gate if needed. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery for our guests. There is a dining table which seats 8 comfortably and also another table and 8 chairs outside if you wish to eat on the terrace. Fully air-conditioned throughout, the villa has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, another double bedroom and two twin rooms, not to mention satellite TV with many English channels and free WiFi.

Situated in a quiet square on the Mar Menor Golf Resort the villa is in a good location for children to play outside.The garden at the rear of the property is partly grass with a newly laid large patio area surrounding the large heated pool as well as a sheltered terrace and additional shaded dining area which sits 8 comfortably and large brick built barbecue. The garden is mature and well screened with hedges and trees to ensure your privacy and it is not overlooked by any other properties. At the back of the garden is open grass land and at the front of the property there is a pretty square with feature fountain. There is off road parking at the side of the villa.

While you are staying with us you will be looked after by a local company called Villa Solera which is run buy an English couple. Joy will meet you at the villa to check you in and ensure you are happy with everything and generally make sure everything is perfect for you. If you require Joy to buy you supplies before your arrival this can also be arranged. If you experience any problems at the villa during your stay they are always available to help.

We enjoyed our stay, and Nicki (owner) and Joy of Villa Solera (who organised welcome pack, cleaning etc) were very helpful before and during our stay. The villa is obviously well used, but also well maintained, with good kitchen and living room equipment (including large fridge freezer, washing m/c, dishwasher, English TV, DVD etc, and the boiler always provided ample hot water. Having useful extras such as cool box for beach trips was a nice touch. The pool was a good size and clean, with pool cleaner calling during our visit, and also had a good array of loungers and kids pool toys. The couple of small maintenance issues we found (the sort you'd expect with regular use) were fixed almost immediately by Joy. We liked the quiet location of the villa - set back from main drag, but an easy 5 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) to supermarket/hotel/golf etc - and overall well-maintained landscaped feel of the area. The location also meant that the pool had sun until well into afternoon, and the large patio area had sun until late evening. The roof terraces were also a really nice feature. we found the on-resort supermarket and restaurants to be of a high standard, with supermarket also well stocked and not noticeably expensive relative to bigger stores. We would most definitely go back, and recommend for families.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jacaranda 15. There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Joy, who was the property manager was incredibly helpful with regard to beaches, eating out and places to visit.

We stayed for two weeks in this lovely villa, it was veryspacious and spotlessly clean. There is everything there you need for a home from home holiday with the added benefit of the weather and a fantastic heated pool. It is very easy to reach from the airport, we hired a car which enabled us to go out and about, but it would be possible to holiday without as there is an adequate supermarket on the resort as well as bars and restaurants. If you wish a mid stay towel and linen change, you will need to notify the company who look after the property for the owners. We had a wonderful stay here and would definately return.
