You will find paradise in this hidden gem located only minutes from Merida. Well within a short walk's distance to Hacienda Teya, this villa sits among many fruiting trees like avocado, lime, grapefruit, orange, passion fruit and bananas...and more! Pick and eat whatever you like!

The casita is perfect for families, as it sleeps 4 (possibly 5 as the sofa bed which does require a nominal fee sleeps 2). The floors are all beautiful and colorful Talavera tiles. The master bedroom has a super comfortable king sized bed as well as a sleeping nook with a twin bed and there is also a pull out sofa bed with a 4 inch memory foam topper in the living room. The great room is an open floor design with a kitchen, living room and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen, including the basics (stove, fridge, dishes, silverware, microwave) as well as a toaster oven, blender, juicer, and coffee maker. There is also a gas grill on the patio for cooking out. The living room has has a 42” flat screen tv with streaming service through Apple

TV which has a Netflix account available for use.

High speed internet for streaming is also available.

Nestled in the tropical garden courtyard is a pool which is kid safe, with a shallow 3' end and then a 6' deep end for grown ups. The pool also has a bench along the side for reading or having a margarita. There are lounge chairs, benches and even a table with a large umbrella for dining. On the patio near the pool, there is a tiki bar with swings. We have the garden sprayed with environmentally friendly treatment for pest control, and we have citronella tiki torches placed all around. And we have lots of bats and a cat who keep pests away. We can even help you stock the bar of you let us know what you'd like.

There are mini splits (AC) in the great room and in the bedroom. There are screens on the windows if you want to keep them open. There is a washing machine in the bathroom. And we provide housekeeping every other day upon request for a minimal fee of $7.50 (150 pesos).

The property is completely walled for security with off street parking. The gate is motorized with remote access for the car and also a switch inside. We have a lockbox for the walk in door, and we ask that it be left in the box at all times. This way it never gets lost and is always there if you need to get in. We also live in the main house and will be available should you need us. We do not use the pool or garden during guest stays. We have two dogs that we take through the garden to a large yard. They are inside dogs, and they are friendly but are never allowed to be unsupervised.

We are also available to host events up to 100 people on our land. We can provide estimates on request. We provide tents, tables, chairs, music, lighting and catering.

We live on the property. We have two medium sized dogs that are super friendly. We do not allow them to roam unsupervised. We can help you with logistics, getting to and from the airport and so forth. And we can have groceries here waiting for you if you let us know what you'll want.

Smoking is allowed but only outside the casitas. Pets must stay inside unless we have an orientation with other animals on the property. This is for their safety. Pets must always be supervised. Toilet paper cannot go in the toilet in this country. And please conserve electricity by turning off appliances when away from the villa.
