From the owner

This beautiful, newly renovated 3-room apartment can be reached quickly by car from Munich airport and by train via Munich Central Station. The village station is just 5 minutes walk away, with direct trains to Munich and Ingolstadt every hour (journey time = 30 mins).

Enter the 3 room apartment through the garden, bathroom to the left and straight ahead into the kitchen. The bedroom is to the rear with a large double bed and French windows. Up the stairs you will find a newly renovated loft space with double bed and lounge area (can also be turned into a comfortable sleeping area)

We will supply the bed linen and towels so no need to worry about those!

You'll love dining on the beautiful sun terrace in the garden with a bbq for your use. Seasonal fruit, herbs and vegetables are available from the garden. Wifi connection throughout. Washer/dryer facilities available on request. We have a variety of bikes for you to take out for a ride through the beautiful Ilm valley or further afield.

We live in the main house and are happy to help you as much or as little as you need. We are native English speakers who are fluent in German; as highly qualified English trainers we can also offer English tuition, right here in our rural retreat!

An ideal location for runners and/or cyclists in training and in search of clean country air. We have used the myriad of local off-road routes, both benign and challenging, to prepare for marathons, half marathons and triathlons. So, come and get fit or fitter!! If you just fancy a walk, we will gladly point you in the direction of a route to suit you.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING inside the apartment - No extra guests and no parties. Please note that we live in the adjoining house and would hope that guests treat the apartment in a way they would want their own home to be treated.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emma (the owner) a message.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
