Suitable for families and couples looking for a relaxed and comfortable holiday. No stag or hen parties or similar groups.

Located moments from the seashore, shops and promenade where you can take a gentle stroll to see the new lifeboat station and pier, enjoy a coffee in the many cafes or grab a famous 'JOE'S' ice cream from the parlour in the next street. There are many restaurants and award winning pubs and breweries to choose from in the village. For the real ale lover there is even a quiet real ale pub across the road.

You can walk straight out of the front door of the cottage right the way around the Gower Peninsular without having to use any form of transport! Heading east from Mumbles you can take the walk along the prom, catch the land train, bus or 15 minute drive into the City of Swansea with its museums, art galleries, theatres, cinemas, shopping, leisure centre with slides, Wales National Pool, Singleton Hospital and Swansea University.

The property is a large 2 bedroom traditional terraced cottage in a popular street in the heart of Mumbles. The property sleeps 6, with a large family bathroom and a large open-plan ground floor comprising of a sitting room and an open plan kitchen /dining / family room with patio doors leading out to a terrace and onto a private secluded west facing garden.

Bedroom 1 Sleeps 2 - King size bed, wardrobe, patio doors.

Bedroom 2 Sleeps 4 - 2 Twin beds (can be linked to create a super king size bed) plus Bunk beds, wardrobe

Getting around

Mumbles is easy to get around on foot and with the house only one street away from the seaside and promenade you are staying in a very central location. You will find all you need within a few streets including a choice of supermarkets, library, shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars. To travel around Gower and see some of the amazing 28 beaches on offer it's best to go by car but there are also regular buses to most go the popular locations. If you're a fan of walking or cycling then Gower is a popular and well catered for destination with several beaches within easy walking distance from the house and the coastal path being only a street away. You'll also be pleased to know that there are many cafes and restaurants along the way.

Interaction with guest

On arrival at Belle Cottage you will be met by either myself or a colleague to give you the keys and show you around the house. We will give you a Welcome Book that has all the information you need to enjoy your stay including simple instructions about the house and some local information about amenities, shops and suggested places to eat. We can also tell you a bit about Mumbles and Gower so feel free to ask any questions you might have about the area and how to make the most of your stay. We live locally so if you need us during your stay simply give us a call.

We had a fantastic week staying at the cottage in Mumbles. Everything was fine, and the weather was brilliant. Very much hope to return one of these days.
