The South Wales region

Awarded the title of Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956, The Gower Peninsular is a true haven. Tucked away in South-West Wales, Gower offers its visitors the feeling of complete freedom, whilst lying just a short drive from Swansea and the M4. Gower is famous for its beautiful and varied landscape, featuring golden beaches, limestone cliffs, moors, hills and woodland. A popular destination for ramblers, surfers and rock climbers, there's a wide range of activities on offer and always something new to try. Those who want to explore at a more relaxed pace can discover mouth-watering local produce, boutique shopping, cafes, art galleries and more in the popular fishing village of Mumbles. With a rich cultural heritage and plenty of attractions both ancient and modern, the Gower Peninsular is an area of the UK that's not to be overlooked.

Mumbles

“Home from home”

Reviewed 27 May 2014

We enjoyed a lovely week at Park street. The holiday home was very comfortable and homely. So close to the main town and shops, literally around the corner and a short stroll to the pier. The kitchen was really very equipped and also very spacious and modern, the use of natural light in the bathroom was also a bonus, lovely to have a bath and separate shower, spacious shower. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to use the garden, but it looked clean and well kept. We would return to the area and use this holiday home again. Only one downside- Parking, we did struggle to park outside the property due to restrictions, shame there isn't a permit for visitors to use.

Hi! Thank you for your lovely review on Park Street Cottage! Unfortunately, parking in Mumbles can be a bit of a challenge but we are looking to sort out some sort of parking permit for guests to use. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon! Maddie at Gower Getaways.
