Description

Situated about half way between Cape Town and Simonds town, you will find Lakeside, Muizenberg. With stunning views of the mountain and just up the road from the lake, it is ideally located to visit the Constantia Valley Wine route, Silvermine Nature Reserve, Kalkbay and Simonstown.

The southern train line is a 10-minute walk to lakeside station; the line travels between Simonstown into the heart of Cape Town city centre. The rail journey between Muizenberg and Simonstown most probably being one of the most scenic in the world.

The centre of Cape Town with its V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Lions Head, Camps Bay, and Clifton is a leisurely 40 minutes’ drive away or 45 minute train ride will take you to the heart of cape town. You can also reach the city via Chapman's Peak Drive - a must do drive for any visitor to Cape Town.

Available is a beautiful, self-catering apartment. The apartment is on the top floor of a private residence, boasting lovely mountain views from the private balcony and views to the lake from 2nd bedroom. Conveniently located to the beach, popular surfing spots, grocery stores, lakeside railway station and local restaurants and bar scene.

The open plan 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Parking behind secure gate is available by arrangement. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has a private dressing room attached with ceramic wall heaters. The main bedroom on the 1st floor is an on-suite bathroom (bath) connected to the dressing room while the ground floor has a separate shower. All rooms have cupboards allowing ample space to store clothing.

The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering featuring granite counter tops. Dining space for 4 is available as part of the lounge are. The lounge seats 4 comfortably offering views of the mountain with satellite TV available. Leading from the lounge / dining area is a Braai (BBQ) Room with private balcony where guests can unwind and enjoy the mountain view (smoking is allowed in this area)

Cleaning services can be arranged one / two day(s) per the week, depending on length of stay (min 1 week).

This is a quiet residential area, so we request guests to respect the other tenants and keep noise levels down.

The property is not suitable for travellers with babies, toddlers and children under 16.

Please note there are dogs on the property (private area of owner), so please take this into account before making a booking. Smoking allowed in the designated area

Use of the swimming pool is by appointment as the pool is within the private area of the owner. Please note the owner has small dogs should you be uncomfortable with dogs.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
