Description from owner

Description

Local photographer and artist has created a comfy cottage in the heart of Muizenberg, a stones throw away from the warm Indian Ocean with its white, sandy Blue Flag beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Its a great beach for swimming, surfing, sunbathing, fishing and kite surfing. Zandvlei, the only functioning estuary on the False Bay Coastline is just a minute's walk from the cottage.

You can take fabulous walks to nearby St James with it's tidal pool, which is great for a relaxing sea swim, Kalk Bay with its famous Brass Bell restaurant right on the sea, and its eclectic mix of craft shops, art galleries and great eateries. On Sundays there is a local market right in Muizenberg.

You can go mountain walking and biking, road cycling, skateboarding like the locals or take surfing lessons at the famous 'Surfers corner'. There is also the Waterslide and putt putt course around the corner that makes fun for a family outing.

Muizenberg

Local photographer and artist has created a rustic, comfy cottage in the heart of Muizenberg, a stones throw away from the warm Indian Ocean with its white, sandy Blue Flag beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.

It's a great beach for swimming, surfing, sunbathing, fishing and kite surfing. Zandvlei, the only functioning estuary on the False Bay Coastline is just a two minute walk from the cottage.

The cottage has a farm house feel with years of collected rural furniture and is surrounded by an indigenous garden and swimming pool.

You can go mountain biking, road cycling, skateboarding like the locals or take surfing lessons at the famous Surfers Corner right on the sandy beaches. There is also the Waterslide and putt putt course around the corner that makes fun for a family outing.

There are fabulous walks to nearby St James with it's tidal pool, which is great for a relaxing sea swim, Kalk Bay with its famous Brass Bell restaurant right on the sea, and its eclectic mix of craft shops, art galleries and great eateries.

On Sundays there is a local market 2 minutes walk away.
