Each tree was selected with care to create a well balanced, natural look. Being Austrian, I love Muhlbach for it's authenticity and traditional feel away from the over- comercialised and over- priced resorts found in the alps. When you stop for lunch on the pistes you can enjoy home-made cuisine for prices that are accessible. Our skiing terrain is on par with many of the top alpine resorts. I want to welcome you to Chalet Arabella to experience what we have enjoyed for so many years. What are the unique benefits of the property?Firstly, we are a very international family so it is fantastic that Salzburg airport is just 1hr from the chalet, and I'm pleased to say we have never hit traffic once in all the years we have been coming as the Autobahn comes direct from the airport! For families with children I can personally say that having raised 3 of my own and visited our chalet with them on numerous occasions, this is the perfect location for your family holiday. No lift queues, reasonable prices and catering for children in every restaurant! What Chalet Arabella offers is a real taste of Austrian luxury and hospitality which we believe is the best in Europe! Please feel free to send me an email should you wish to know more about our family chalet and it's surroundings. Best, Margit

“We had a wonderful time in the chalet and everything was pretty much perfect.”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2014

We had a wonderful time in the chalet and everything was pretty much perfect. We loved the style and the way that everything had been put together in such a thoughtful manner. There has obviously been a lot of time and effort put into the way the chalet looks and feels and it was just what we wanted with each of the rooms having its own charm. Sometimes when you rent holiday homes you have one or two rooms that lack the attention to detail or have drawbacks but this was not the case at Chalet Arabella; we had 10 guests ranging from 4 years old to an 80 year old and everyone had a great time! We were also looked after well throughout by our hosts who were available when required.

“Amazing chalet, perfect location, great skiing region, brilliant for large groups!”

Reviewed 24 Nov 2013

By far the best chalet or hotel our family have stayed in a for luxury accommodation and also location, both 5 star. I have been ski-ing twice a year for 17 years and we always try different places however this is the first time we'll be returning to the same place as it was wonderful. All the rooms are spacious and the kids loved playing in the cinema den which has lots of games and space. The upstairs communal areas are really cosy with open fires and beautiful views over the valley. The owner, Margit was charming, as were the English couple who greeted us at the chalet with local treats and breakfast every morning. Plus they lit the fires for our arrival! Good idea to hire a car so you can ski other resorts like Maria Alm, Leogang and Zel am see which also has a glacier with guranteed snow. The town is small but very pretty and friendly. Our party had a wonderful time and we'd definitely recommend it, I am back in January next year, can't wait.
