Very Good

“Cosy sitting area . Good facilities”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

Nice property once we got in. Difficult to contact local contact and in the end sent text to owner. Very steep approach so definitely needed snow chains. Lovely warm property with cosy open fire. Nice large table for dinner. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. Great for large family group. There are two lounges but we only used one. The downstairs one would be great for older kids or teens. Would stay again . Only problem is it's a long walk into village if you have someone who doesn't want to ski. Plus long steep walk back. Great for skiers with their own cars.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your review. I'm very happy to hear you had a great time, we do our best to make sure all our customers have an unforgettable experience. Regarding access to the village, there is a daily shuttle bus 20 feet from the chalet that takes you into the village centre. It's a great option for those without a car or those that don't want to walk. Best regards, Margit

“We had a wonderful time in the chalet and everything was pretty much perfect.”

We had a wonderful time in the chalet and everything was pretty much perfect. We loved the style and the way that everything had been put together in such a thoughtful manner. There has obviously been a lot of time and effort put into the way the chalet looks and feels and it was just what we wanted with each of the rooms having its own charm. Sometimes when you rent holiday homes you have one or two rooms that lack the attention to detail or have drawbacks but this was not the case at Chalet Arabella; we had 10 guests ranging from 4 years old to an 80 year old and everyone had a great time! We were also looked after well throughout by our hosts who were available when required.

“Amazing chalet, perfect location, great skiing region, brilliant for large groups!”

By far the best chalet or hotel our family have stayed in a for luxury accommodation and also location, both 5 star. I have been ski-ing twice a year for 17 years and we always try different places however this is the first time we'll be returning to the same place as it was wonderful. All the rooms are spacious and the kids loved playing in the cinema den which has lots of games and space. The upstairs communal areas are really cosy with open fires and beautiful views over the valley. The owner, Margit was charming, as were the English couple who greeted us at the chalet with local treats and breakfast every morning. Plus they lit the fires for our arrival! Good idea to hire a car so you can ski other resorts like Maria Alm, Leogang and Zel am see which also has a glacier with guranteed snow. The town is small but very pretty and friendly. Our party had a wonderful time and we'd definitely recommend it, I am back in January next year, can't wait.
