The Dorset region
Within a few minutes drive is the New Forest including Lyndhurst, the motor museum at Beaulie, Bovington Tank Museum, cycles for hire at Brockenhurst, horses and nature walks.
Dorset has a range of attractions for everyone. Aquarium at Bournemouth beach for the kids, nights out, comedy clubs and bars for the adults and the famous Bournemouth beach.
There are golf courses in the area or you can sit on Bournemouth Pier and watch the world go by.
You can also get a boat ride to the Isle of White from Poole.
Mudeford is a small village on the coast of Dorset, two miles from the Hampshire border. If you turn left from the house, the fishing quay and harbour are only a one minute walk from the house, and provide endless interest. Crab fishing is a popular activity along the quayside and the Haven pub and cafe provide good food with an amazing view.
The ferry to Mudeford Spit takes passengers all day to the beautiful Mudeford Beach which leads to Hengistbury Head and a walk to Christchurch.
If you turn right from the house, you are a one minute walk from Avon Beach with it's beach cafe and beach shop. Walking along the beach you can turn left up towards Highcliffe Castle, walking through the woods along the coastal path.
Christchurch Town (which is a five minute drive or just over half an hour walk) has great facilities and places of interest including the Priory, restaurants, shops, leisure centre with swimming pool and gym.
Bournemouth, only 20 minutes away by car, is also worth a visit during your stay. In addition to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), theatres, cinemas, bars, shops and restaurants, the beach is stunning and the town is busy and fun.

"Comfortable and well equipped home in excellent location"
Only had a long weekend in this property attending a family wedding, but would happily have stayed longer if had been possible. Very comfortable and well equipped property. Although there was only 2 of us, this property would be ideal for a large group or family as very spacious. We were extremely lucky having fantastic weather during our stay and were able to make good use of the balcony in the evening. The location is very good with many places to visit and plenty of facilities nearby, either by foot or a short drive away. Would highly recommend this property to others.

We are a group of 6 schoolfriends (now rising 60!!!) We go away for a long weekend every April. For me, the accommodation at 'Lazy Daze' was excellent. Everything we could have wished for was provided, including complementary wine & use of food items in fridge/freezer!!! Bathroom facilities were excellent, including lovely soft, fluffy towels!!! The location was excellent, both the beach & the harbour/quay were beautiful, close & we even managed a walk into Christchurch!!! The house itself was comfortable, homely, clean & there was ample seating both at the tables & in the lounge. The service provided was excellent. Easy to communicate with the owners who were friendly and responded quickly to any queries. I would definitely return to such a clean, spacious, comfortable house in such a lovely location. Thank you Louise!!! Loved it!!

"The perfect house in the perfect location"
We have holidayed with our children in Mudeford on numerous occasions, usually staying in the caravan park. We had passed this house lots of times during our stays there and couldn't believe our luck when we saw it was available for lets. The accommodation was everything that we could hope for. There was so much space that, not only did both our children bring friends, but we even had space for another family to join us for a couple of days. The house has been decorated and finished to an excellent standard and we have already booked to come back next year.
