Description

DISCOUNTS available during low season ! Contact us for details.

Situated in the heart of this small and quintessentially 'olde-English' town of Much Wenlock, 'End Barn' provides fine quality accommodation within an easy walk of the towns historic attractions. With numerous medieval buildings, pubs and restaurants, there's much to see and do before even wandering further afield to explore the rest of Shropshire.

End Barn itself is a recently converted 17th Century barn and sleeps up to 4 people, perfect for a couple or family.

The property is entered from the side of the building where a private parking space allows for ease of unloading your luggage and keep the cars off-road in an otherwise popular tourist part of town, so there's never a worry about getting parked at anytime of the day.

At the rear of the cottage, double french doors lead to the newly fitted kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped with 4 ring gas burning hob, grill and oven.

“Surprisingly roomy accommodation in a perfect location”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2014

We had a wonderful week in End Barn, finding the property well-appointed, immaculately clean and enhanced by the owners' lovely garden, of which we were allowed shared use. The owners are very kind: present if you need them but never intrusive. The cottage was spacious for me, my husband and our toddler - and easily accommodated my mum and her partner when they stayed for a night too. The location is great: quiet and tucked away, yet only two minutes' walk from the centre of Much Wenlock (which is sleepy, charming and steeped in history). Our two-year-old loved looking out of his window at the highland cattle in the field behind the house (and there's a toddler-friendly, ten-minute walk around the back of it). Much Wenlock is also within easy driving distance of some brilliant places: Ironbridge Gorge, Bridgnorth, Morville, Benthall Hall, Dudmaston, and so on. We could have stayed for a month! One caveat: there is no WiFi at the house, and very little phone signal. You might, of course, view this as a good thing! All in all, highly recommended.
