From the owner

This cosy cottage is situated in the seaside village of Moville in Ireland's stunning Inishowen peninsula. It is close to excellent restaurants and traditional pubs with Irish music. The village itself has a small beach and a fishing pier, while nearby there are beautiful blue-flag beaches. Derry city is half an hour away and offers superb history, nightlife and restaurants.

The cottage itself has been refurbished and is extremely clean, comfortable and cosy with an open fire in the sitting room.It is approximately 100 years old, and the sensitive recent refurbishment means that it is very comfortable whilst retaining all its original features (such as the oak beams in the sitting room and the traditional fireplace). There are two double bedrooms upstairs and a sofa-bed in the sitting room. The kitchen is on the ground floor leading out to a sunny patio area with outside sitting and eating area surrounded by pretty plants.

Changeover day may be flexible; please enquire. The deposit is a cleaning/breakages deposit which you get back at the end of your stay. We don't expect the place back spotless just tidy with surfaces wiped down.

The property has a sunny patio area to the rear, leading out from the kitchen. It has a dining area and is surrounded by pretty plants. This area gets sunshine all day from 11 a.m. until sunset. Garden furniture includes a wooden table with four chairs, plus three extra camping chairs and a barbecue. Parking space is at the front of the house.

No smoking at this property

House rules

The house is in a residential area with older neighbours nearby please respect these people with noise levels at night. The house is for a maximum of six people only and loud parties are not allowed as it is a small house . Also we generally accept families and mixed age groups but not a whole group of teenagers or people in the twenties as damage has been done with bad behaviour in the past.

It is a shame that you were disappointed with the house , although you had told me your were only two people staying and your dogs not six. The home prices that week of the Irish Open reached over a thousand to rent and I gave you standard price. It is mentioned on the site that the bathroom is downstairs , the tv does have RTE and BBC I am sorry you couldn't get it tuned in I will check that we have never had a problem before. I was in touch with all details of the area giving you advice where to eat and the best beaches prior to your arrival but haven't received any messages from you since. The bins were emptied prior to guests arrival and there is a picture of the outside area on the site with seating and plants. Childrens toys and books are kept in the house as well as games to entertain them. I am disappointed with this review as you will see from other reviews we do try our best for our guests.
