“Lovely cottage with lots of atention to detail”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2012

Great location in a picturesque village. We were welcomed with wine, scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam. Lots of amenities: Washing machine, dishwasher, iron & board (a bit wobbly), all cleaning materials... Comfy beds and quiet location allowed good sleep. We had a wonderful blessed by mostly great weather.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I have replaced the ironing board thank you for mentioning it as I take all guests comments on board and act on them if it is within my power to do so. Kind regards Helena and hope you visit again soon.

“Lovely cottage in pretty Mousehole”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2012

Cosy cottage with lots of character, just a sort walk from the harbour and shops in Mousehole. Very nice welcome pack of wine, apple juice and a chocolate cornish pasty along with a welcome card, a very nice touch. All the furnishings were to a high standard, beautiful kitchen and living room oozing with character. Added benefit of phone that accepted incoming calls and wi-fi, as no mobile signal inside the cottage. Didn't want to leave and would not hesitate to stay here again and The only downsides to this property, which some people may need to take into account, were the walk from Mousehole to the cottage was quite an uphill climb on a road with no path and whilst parking is available outside the property it isn't reserved so sometimes you aren't able to park right outside the cottage. Neither of these points were an issue to us but may be to others.

“Nice place to stay.”

We were surprised at how pleasant, clean and comfortable the house was. It was very good value for money for west Cornwall. The owner was welcoming and helpful and responded with pleasure to good feedback. We wer also impressed by how pet-friendly the owner was. This is unusual and has meant we usually have to put our dog in kennels. Maybe next time, we won't. We were delighted with our stay and would recommend Rosie's Cottage to anyone.
