OASIS APARTAMENTO: interesting, self contained first floor of an old Andalucían farmhouse (Cortijo Nuevo). Wonderfully tranquil and relaxing South from Granada on the COSTA TROPICAL 3kms East from MOTRIL, many beaches nearby. Set in exotic and lush sub-tropical gardens; unmanicured and jungle in style. Privacy, patios, pool, pets, plants - perfect holiday home for discerning travellers. Wi-Fi zone - wonderful mild Winter temperatures. LGBT suitable naturists.

NO INFANTS OR CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS PERMITTED, to allow a wonderful sense of tranquility and calm in the lush sub-tropical gardens and poolside.

Getting around

Car almost essential as the property is 3kms from the nearby market town of Motril or local beaches (unless you plan to simply rest in the gardens or poolside 24/7). Limited bus servive into Motril from the village, just 2 daily. Of course taxis plentiful - ask for further details if non-driver.

Interaction with guest

Patrick, the resident British owner lives alone in the main farmhouse. Here to help with any issues or problems you may encounter, offer help, advice or simply chat. Will respect your privacy and keep out of the way if you prefer solitude. The gardens (half an acre) were designed with privacy in mind and easy to lose oneself amongst the lush planting and various patios.

Helps if you are dog tolerant, two waggy dogs are free to wander the gardens (they do not enter your accommodations), Boris and Hector. They spend many hours dozing in the sun or in the shade.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, peaceful and lovely surroundings, good location for visiting Motril, Salobrena, Almunecar, Alpujarras, Granada, Nerja, Almeria. Apartment had everything we needed for our stay and the gardens were gloriours. Ideal for a well earned rest or for exploring the area.

We stayed in El Apartamento which was a delightful, two-person apartment. We were welcomed but left alone as much as we needed. We had everything we could need. Perhaps the only niggle which is really outside the owners control is the rather dusty approach to the property. But we would recommend the property without reservation. Check the local directions before travelling. New roads are about to open which will significantly ease the journey by car - about 80 minutes from Málaga airport.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Patrick (the owner) a message.

If Patrick (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
