Chalet la Grange is a beautifully renovated property situated in an excellent location right in the centre of Morzine, only 300m from the Pleney lifts and the ski schools (just 4 mins walk!). It is superbly equipped for self-caterers with all the facilities you could need, but we can easily arrange for a freelance caterer to come in to offer you full catering or part-catered (B & B or just evening meals).
The chalet is laid out over two floors, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is perfect for smaller groups looking to be right in the centre of the resort. It's set on a quiet (one-way) residential street just a stone's throw from the main Tourist Office hub of Morzine: everything is close at hand. No expense has been spared for maximum comfort and great facilities. There is a little sunny balcony and BBQ too.

Morzine is a world-class ski resort in its own right, and the advantages of being linked to the high-altitude resort of Avoriaz, as well as being at the heart of the Portes Du Soleil linked ski area, are superb.
Morzine is a lovely town, and its main attraction is that it is a historical village that has embraced the skiing and summer activity market, while still retaining its village atmosphere.
It was one of the first French resorts to develop ski lifts, with the original Pleney cable car being built in the early 1930's. Morzine is now the largest town in the Portes du Soleil ski area, although there are only about 3500 year-round inhabitants!

French Portes du Soleil

The vast Portes du Soleil ski area is made up of 13 resorts in France and Switzerland, which combine to offer 650km of piste, and what we love about our ski area is that there are so many different aspects to it – the glorious south-facing sunny slopes of the Les Gets bowl, the family-friendly Nyon and Lindarets plateaus; the thrill of the crisp north-facing Avoriaz black runs, and the amazing endless runs of the Chatel-Linga valley...to say nothing of the fun of a slide over into Switzerland!
In Morzine we have the choice of 2 different ski passes: either the "Local" pass which covers Pleney – Nyon – Les Gets – Chamossiere – Mont Cheri; or the wider "Portes du Soleil" pass which covers all the above plus Avoriaz, Chatel and the rest of the Swiss resorts.

Please note that there is no secure bike storage available at this property. There is a small ski locker which can fit skis / boards for max 8 people, and ski boots can be stored in the warm boiler room.
There is a Damage Deposit which we collect ON ARRIVAL in resort. The Damage Deposit is â¬300 / £300, and is payable in cash or cheque only.

“Accurately described..perfectly spacious....location!..location!..location!!!!”

There is simply nothing to be disappointed about with this property. Firstly great communication and prompt service regards to all administration with the chalet. There were eight of us in the party and there is plenty of space throughout whole chalet so never did it felt cramped. Don't worry about cooking the restaurant under chalet does amazing food!!! And what ultimately sells it.....location. We all know how important it is to be close to a shop, lifts in the morning and a bar within walking distance in the evening...this place ticks all the boxes really does. Its so so convenient to all the above within a 3 min walk....perfect! We/I highly recommend this place and will all certainly return in the future. Thank you
