Chalet Rasera is one of our guests' old favourites - perfect for groups and families. Whether your priority is comfortable accommodation, proximity to the lifts or central location, Chalet Rasera is a great choice. It's right in the centre of the town, yet on a quiet side street, set in a large garden with plentiful car parking and garage. 5 spacious bedrooms plus a mezzanine allows for groups from 11 up to 15.

The Pleney slopes, the French, International and British ski schools are all just a snowball's throw away, the Pleney telecabine and the ski hire shop are 2 minutes' walk, while the Super-Morzine lift (for piste access to Avoriaz) is just 5 minutes' walk from the chalet.

In good snow conditions you can ski to within 50m of the chalet's door!

The chalet itself is spacious and welcoming, with a log fire as the central feature of the living / dining room, with comfy sofas and a large oak dining table.

There's a TV (with UK Freeview and French Freeview), DVD, Free wi-fi, and stereo CD player. On the ground floor is a shower room and separate WC.

Up the main staircase are the largest bedrooms: 2 spacious double bedrooms with large balconies, a twin room, and a large bathroom with bath & WC, and a shower room with WC.

The chalet entrance hall also opens the upper annexe which sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 twin, and 1 mezzanine single), with its own bathroom (shower and WC).

Please note that there is a ground floor self-contained flat which will be occupied by the owner of the chalet (Mme Rasera) with a separate entrance.

The kitchen has full-size cooker, microwave, dishwasher, handblender, food mixer, toaster, kettle, and ample tableware for groups of up to 15.

All linen, 2 pillows and 2 towels per person are provided. Cleaning is not included and costs €100 extra, payable on arrival.

We will be at the chalet for check-in at the time you arrive in Morzine (between 3pm and 10pm is acceptable) and will walk you round the chalet and explain everything you'll need to know. We'll be at the end of the phone during your stay if you need any help or information, and then we'll come to the chalet to check you out on your departure day, from 8am onwards, up to 10am) and to return your damage deposit.

Pets are allowed but ONLY if you ask us beforehand and specify what type of dog it is (and only ONE dog allowed per booking). Dogs must not be left on their own in the chalet and must not get on the furniture or beds at all. We reserve the right to withhold the damage deposit until 48 hours after your departure in order to thoroughly check the chalet for any damage / excess hair left.

Why can't I call Rachel (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rachel (the owner) a message.

If Rachel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
