From the owner

Come and stay at Gorlys, our fully equipped house is located on the edge of Snowdonia with access to a host of outdoor activities suitable for all ages. The house has two bedrooms, a full bathroom with bath & shower. Separate WC on the ground floor. Fully equipped "cooking" kitchen, with plenty of work surfaces. Comfortable lounge/dining room with seating for four leading out to the rear garden which has a four seat dining table. Black Rock Sands is the local attraction, just five minutes walk away! Alternatively you can take the car and drive onto the beach if you want to take chairs windbreaks etc . We also provide a wheeled cart, to carry the chairs, wind breaks and cold box to use on the beach. Local shop, chippy and pub all within five minutes.

If its peace and quiet you are looking for, the rear garden is fully enclosed and two loungers are available. The outdoor seating are is covered ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or grabbing a beer after the kids have gone to bed..!

The range of activities locally has increased dramatically in recent years, try Zip Lining or the Underground Trampoline in Blaenau Ffestiniog, high ropes course, mountain biking or just walking at Coed y Brenin , we can tell you where to try wild swimming, hike up Snowdon, visit Portmerion, travel the Ffestiniog or Welsh Highland Railway, Go Karting and Quad biking at Nefyn there is plenty to do and never enough time.

We allow dogs BUT PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS IN THE HOUSE UNSUPERVISED!!! We do prefer that the dogs do not sleep upstairs in the bedrooms or to go on the beds. We also ask that you collect all the doggie deposits. Please make sure there is no dirty crockery left. Please put all the rubbish out including the recycling. Turn the thermostat down to 15 degrees. Turn all the lights out and close all the windows. PLEASE LEAVE THE KEY IN THE KEY SAFE WHEN YOU LEAVE.

Why can't I call Joanne (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Joanne (the owner) a message.

If Joanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
