Located on the edge of the market town of Moreton in Marsh, Farm View House is a good sized home which is always a good choice for a group looking for a good value, well located destination.

Surrounded by open fields and a few local houses, the property also has a large garden with climbing frame and sunken trampoline making it particularly suitable for families with young children.

Inside the property is furnished simply and without too much frill, the rooms are large and bright and comfortable. Upstairs are 5 bedrooms most with double beds that can be made into singles if required. The bedrooms are set across two floors and all with wonderful views across the Cotswolds' countryside.

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance through to hallway leading to all rooms on the ground floor.

Kitchen / Diner very large and very well equipped with electric, hob, oven and grill, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge and freezer and microwave. There is a dining table and up to 12 chairs. There is also a door which leads to the rear garden.

Living Room with multiple sofas and armchairs to seat a maximum of 12 people.

First Floor

Bedroom One with two single beds (can be pushed together to make a double bed) with wardrobe plus small Ensuite Shower with WC and washbasin

Bedroom Two with two single beds, (which can be pushed together as a double bed if preferred) with a washbasin.

Bedroom Three with bunk beds and hooks for hanging.

Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin

Bedroom Four with two single beds which can be pushed together as a double if preferred.

Second Floor

Master Bedroom Suite (Bedroom 5) with two single beds, plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin. There are amazing views over the countryside from these rooms!

Outside

There is a large parking area to the side with ample space for parking. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a table and chairs, plus a climbing frame and sunken trampoline. (Parents please note that these are provided for use and therefore are requested to take care when using them)

Beyond the garden are fields and a small lane into the market town.

Moreton-in-Marsh

Moreton-in-Marsh is an attractive market town situated in the northern Cotswolds at the head of the Evenlode valley, on the Fosse Way, and mid way between Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold. Hundreds of years ago, it was once a major stopping point on a Roman road which travelled from the south coast all the way to Lincoln. Much of the town's architecture is still evident and displays history and classic signs of the region's 'style'.

As you would expect the town has a long history including being a stopping location for the old coaching route from London to Worcester, hence several coaching inns that still exist today. Additionally, there is The Four Shires Stone is about two miles out of the town - the meeting place of four counties: Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire.

Today the town, which is about 15 minutes level-walk away, has a great selection of shops including teashops, restaurants, antiques and art galleries. There are many delightful Cotswolds villages within a short drive with more of the well known hotspots such as Bourton on the Water, Burford and Stow on the Wold very close by. Warwick and Warwick Castle plus Stratford upon Avon are nearby also.

Daylesford, the popular farm shop and Day Spa (plus so much more) is no more than 10 mins drive away, as are some of the Cotswolds most popular and attractive villages.

Add to this the fact that there is a train station in Moreton with direct access to Oxford and London, a great location for sure.
