The whimsical 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach house features an open floor plan, custom mosaic tiles and thoughtful ocean-themed decor to welcome 7 guests in style. Set within walking distance of the many Morehead City attractions, 'Mermaid Cottage' lets you enjoy the best of the beautiful beaches and charming coastal towns along the pristine North Carolina coast.

Feel your cares melt away as soon as you step through the front door of ‘Mermaid Cottage,’ where the open floor plan, glossy hardwood floors, and colorful furnishings will put you right at ease. This whimsical home promises a delightful coastal vacation for your whole group!

A flat-screen satellite TV and plush couch in the living room are perfect for you to have a movie night from the comfort of your cottage. Just down the 3 stairs resembling ocean waves, built-in bookshelves and a cozy nook allow you to curl up with a good book in the sunshine streaming in.

Test out a new recipe or prepare an old favorite in the fully equipped kitchen. The island offers additional counter space and a breakfast bar where you can pull up a seat to dine before venturing out to explore Morehead City.

Hop on one of the 2 provided adult bikes ride down to the waterfront to watch the fishing boats come in. Stop at one of the delectable eateries there, or buy some of the fresh seafood and try your hand at cooking back at 'Mermaid Cottage.'

When you return, follow the winding river mosaic to the French doors opening to the side entrance yard and fire up the gas grill to enjoy a backyard barbecue.

As your eyes grow heavy, retreat to the master bedroom and crawl into the queen bed as the rest of your traveling companions fall asleep in their own comfortable sleeping spaces to rest up for another day in Morehead City.
