“Thank you!”

Reviewed 14 Feb 2017

This was our second visit to the property and yet again we absolutely loved it. Spacious, peaceful and warm. Everything we needed for a quiet weekend to get away from it all, and spend time with friends. The rooms are large and equipped with all the essentials including towels and hairdryers. The location is beautiful but close enough to the supermarket too (10 min drive). Thank you so much, we will see you again next year!

Owner's reply: Thanks Lisa, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay again! Look forward to seeing you back here soon Vicki

“Beautiful setting with everything you would need”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

The cottage is nicely furnished with everything you should need. The welcome cake and homemade jam beautiful. The setting is very relaxing, with an amazing BBQ area next to the loch. We really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was cozy but had plenty of room to give everyone space, and the added bonus of 3 bathrooms. I would recommend the cottage.

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2016

We had a fantastic stay at Lochtower, James and Vikki are lovely people, made us feel so welcome. The house is excellent, very clean and spacious. The rooms are a good size and all the bedding, towels etc are spotlessly clean. To be staying on a farm is so different, the house has its own loch complete with little rowing boat. We enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of bubbles watching the world go by, we were so lucky with the weather. The fruit cake and raspberry jam were a nice touch, thank you. Our grandchildren loved the dogs too. We will be back

“Real home from home and truly relaxing”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2016

A fabulous base for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. Is a large cottage, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing time. Made to feel very welcome by Vicki, family and variety of pets and farm animals. Accommodation is of a very high standard, as previously said, no waiting for a shower or toilet as there are plenty for most families! The night skies - cloud free allowing - were truly magical, as was the loch setting, always covered with loads of birds. Our girls loved the boat and made good use of the large trampoline, so everyone happy. If we weren't about to move to Scotland ourselves, would definitely return! However, would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. This is how all holiday accommodation should be - a real find, thanks Vicki.

Owner's reply: Debbie, we loved having you all and glad you enjoyed your stay. Good luv Can for you move north! Vicki

“Well equipped spacious accomadation”

Reviewed 6 Aug 2016

The spacious 3 bedded cottage was perfect for our short break. it gave plenty of space for the 5 of us, and with four bathrooms there was no waiting for showers. The open plan accomadtion downstairs was very modern and social for those cooking. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything I needed for cooking. The loch side is very relaxing and we spent each evening down here with a fire. I would recommend this cottage for families or small groups.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the lovely review - yes it's quite special watching the sun go down by the Lochside! Hope to see you all again soon.
