Prices range from budget to the more expensive, but highly recommended Le Dauphin at El Portet.

Why not try the fabulous home-cooked food at the Deli in Moraira? Stock up on goodies and head for an al fresco picnic on the beach. They also have an excellent sister restaurant.

Altea old town combines sight-seeing and a tremendous selection of restaurants. For something a bit different try El Yakout, the Moroccan restaurant.

Javea has many bars and restaurants including an excellent Thai restaurant Monsoon and a very good contemporary tapas restaurant Es Tapa Ti.

Denia Marina is home to several trendy restaurants and bars, or for the kids try a pizza at Ticcolo on Denia sea-front

The local scenery is spectacular with mountains rolling down to the sea. The whole area is very family friendly.

PLAYA DEL MORAIG - Cumbre del Sol has its own beach 3 minutes drive away. A beautiful secluded cove with pebble beach and two beach bars.

MORAIRA - development has been sensitively restricted to no more than 3 stories high. A picturesque marina, with lots of bars and restaurants, palm trees and a sandy beach. Try the fabulous rooftop bar at the Club Nautico in the marina. The extravagant costumes of the Moors and Christian fiesta are a sight to see a great family event. Moraira has two beaches: Platja de LAmpolla and Cala de LAndrago.

EL PORTET - is 5 minutes away and has a shallow sea for about 100 yards making it ideal for families.

JAVEA - Arenal is a modern bustling resort with bars. restaurants and beaches aplenty. Boat hire by the canal.

DENIA - a working Spanish port with daily ferries to Ibiza. An excellent marina has trendy bars and restaurants, one with a swimming pool.
