Description

La Flamenca is a comfortable family home, situated on the edge of one of the best kept urbanisations in the area. It has fantastic views over the valley towards Cabo del Nao national park especially from the roof top bathing area. The living room opens directly on to the terrace where there are comfy chairs and table for alfresco dining. The spacious patio has a built in BBQ and being a corner plot there is a garden on three sides and car parking at the front. The villa comes equipped with everything you need for a traditional family holiday with plenty of extra bedding, towels etc should you require them.

From the villa there is a pleasant walk to El Portet beach. Here there is a safe, sandy beach (with a life guard during the summer months). There are a couple of cafe's behind and further along the beach a first class restaurant high up on the terrace looking out over the bay. A wonderful experience.

Pricing is based on a daily rate for the two bed villa which enables mid week bookings to be taken if more convenient. The third bedroom with en-esuite shower is by separate negotiation

A 20% deposit will secure the booking, with the balance payable one month prior to booking dates

The main villa consists of a double and a twin bedroom sharing a bathroom, with a twin bedroom with large en-suite shower below using a separate entrance. The two bedrooms can be rented as one unit with the third bedroom being an extra.

Cots can be arranged on request.

The microwave has a grill in it.

Air conditioning has both hot and cold functions.

The Valencian Country region

This area is ideal for a holiday at any time of year. The climate in this region is warm even in the winter when the temperature rarely falls below 60⁰F, and is an average of 72⁰F throughout the year.

There is a go-karting circuit between Moriara and Teulada. Jet skis can be rented from Moraira beach for a tour along the coast as far as Cabo de la Nao, a headland with great views towards Javea. It is only a short drive to Denia or Javea for larger beaches.

Moraira

El Portet is a cove protected from the north, east and west by mountains. It is south facing and opens up to the sea. It borders the Cabo del Nao National Park and is an unspoilt area without hotels and high-rise buildings, and certainly without the intrusion of mass tourism. El Portet has its own sandy beach, which offers safe swimming in crystal clear and shallow water. The bay is a marine reserve and superb for snorkelling. There are four small restaurants in the old fishermen's cottages along the sea front. There is also a small supermarket and pharmacy. The supermarket sells all that you need including English newspapers.

El Portet is situated at the end of a no through road so there is no through traffic and very quiet and safe. From El Portet it is an easy walk along the coast, through the gardens to Moraira.

Moraira, in the next bay, is about a mile away. It is a quiet town, but with a wealth of good restaurants and bars, and an excellent beach with a life guard and pedalo boats, and excellent beach cafe and plenty of golden sand and clear shallow water, safe swimming for all age groups. There is a weekly (typically Mediterranean) market.

It is a fairly hilly area but walking is very pleasant and comfortable. Taxis are very reasonable and easy to get hold of should you choose not to take your car.
